Every single member of the now-disbanded January 6 Committee deserves to go to prison for the rest of their lives. Actually, they deserve worse, but if I type that, I’ll probably get another visit from the FBI.

The new Speaker of the House, Mike Johnson, is publicly releasing 40,000 hours of January 6 protest video from the US Capitol. Everyone can see the first tranche of videos for themselves online. It’s now clear that the January 6 Liz Cheney Committee lied to the American people. As a result, more than 1,200 people have had their lives destroyed by the Justice Department, and several people have died.

Remember when Tucker Carlson got access to the January 6 video and then Fox News fired him? This is why. Tucker was correct when he stated that the vast majority of people who walked into the US Capitol on January 6th, 2021, were peaceful sightseers. They were tourists walking into an important historical American building that is supposed to belong to them.

That fact is crystal clear with the first batch of videos that Speaker Johnson has released. The first people who “breached” the Capitol were escorted in by police, who acted as tour guides for them. People are shaking hands with the cops. Nobody is causing violence as they wander into the building and they’re not breaking anything. It was a mostly peaceful protest, as we have been saying for almost three years now.

One of the people seen walking into the Capitol that day in these new videos is Matthew Perna. He was an English teacher and a Christian and an active member of his local church in Pennsylvania. He’s on the video holding his phone up, taking selfies and pictures as he peacefully walks in. He didn’t break anything. He didn’t even touch anything. He was just looking around.

When he was originally charged with misdemeanor trespassing and briefly interrupting a meeting at Congress, Perna was led to believe that he’d face only 6 months in prison. He pleaded guilty, because that was basically what the US Attorney told his lawyer. After Matthew Perna pleaded guilty, the Justice Department turned around and told him they were adding a “terrorism enhancement” to his sentence and he was suddenly facing 9 years in prison.

The 37-year-old English teacher then walked into his garage, tied a rope around his neck, and hanged himself. The last thing he told his aunt before he died was, “I love you too Aunt Geri and I’m sorry you lost all of your friends because of me.”

Matthew Perna is one of at least four January 6ers who killed themselves. He didn’t commit any “terrorism” on January 6. Now that we’ve seen the footage, it’s clear that the authorities knew that too. The Justice Department knew he wasn’t a terrorist. So did Liz Cheney and everybody else on the January 6 Committee.

Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT) is calling for an investigation into the January 6 Committee now. They deliberately hid the footage of the mostly peaceful protesters at the Capitol. People are having their lives destroyed by being sentenced to years—sometimes decades—in prison. Their attorneys have never had access to this exonerating footage until now.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) is calling for a new January 6 Committee to be appointed.

“There needs to be investigations and ACCOUNTABILITY for ALL of the lies, deceit, and lives ruined. Every member of the Jan 6th committee, Nancy Pelosi, FBI, DOJ, DC Police, Cap[itol] Police, Jan 6 witnesses who lied, all need to be subpoenaed,” she tweeted.

Rep. Clay Higgins (R-LA), who exposed the FBI’s “ghost buses” of federal agents disguised as Trump supporters on January 6th, says that Democrats should probably run for the hills now.

“No less than 5-10 key Democrats will announce they’re retiring from Congress,” he tweeted. “Don’t doubt me.”

I hope he’s right. It’s infuriating that Members of Congress like Liz Cheney, Adam Kinzinger, Adam Schiff, and the rest of those sanctimonious A-holes sat up there and lied through their teeth. The members of that committee got innocent American citizens killed. That is worth at least a life in prison sentence, given the fact that these people are supposed to be public servants.
