ICE Air Expands Fleet to Boost Deportations

The Department of Homeland Security is getting wings — six of them, to be exact. In a move that’ll have sanctuary city mayors crying into their soy lattes, DHS just signed a $140 million deal to purchase six Boeing 737s. That’s right, ICE Air is going from standby to first class in its mission to deport illegal aliens faster and more efficiently. Finally, some frequent flyer miles we can get behind.

According to The Washington Post — yes, that Washington Post, the one that usually treats border enforcement like it’s a war crime — the planes are coming from Daedalus Aviation, a Virginia-based company that knows its way around a runway. The goal? To speed up deportation flights and cut out the middleman charter companies that have been cashing in while clogging up the process.

This isn’t just an airplane shopping spree. It’s part of a bigger strategy that’s been years in the making. Earlier this year, Congress approved a whopping $170 billion for President Donald Trump’s border and immigration agenda over four years. That’s part of the GOP’s tax bill — the same one that liberals said would only help billionaires, but turns out it’s helping Americans get their country back.

And DHS isn’t shy about taking a victory lap. Tricia McLaughlin, spokeswoman for DHS, put it bluntly: “We are delighted to see The Washington Post is highlighting the Trump administration’s cost-effective and innovative ways of delivering on the American people’s mandate for mass deportations of criminal illegal aliens.”

She didn’t stop there. “This new initiative will save $279 million in taxpayer dollars by allowing ICE to operate more effectively, including by using more efficient flight patterns,” McLaughlin added. She credited President Trump and Homeland Security Secretary Kristi L. Noem for their commitment to “quickly and efficiently getting criminal illegal aliens OUT of our country.”

Translation: The grown-ups are back in charge, and the law is finally being enforced.

The numbers speak for themselves. DHS posted on social media that 600,000 illegal aliens have already been deported from the interior of the U.S. in under a year. And get this: another 1.9 million self-deported. That’s right — 2.5 million illegals are gone. Apparently, when you enforce the law, people notice.

This is what leadership looks like. After four years of Biden’s border chaos — where the only thing higher than the number of illegal crossings was the price of gas — Americans were fed up. The Trump administration’s relentless pursuit to restore law and order is bearing fruit. And it’s not just about numbers, it’s about national security, public safety, and yes, basic sovereignty.

Let’s not forget who created this mess in the first place. Biden and his open-border zealots practically rolled out the red carpet at the southern border. They handed out smartphones, free bus tickets, and a wink from Kamala Harris. Now, the Trump administration is undoing the damage one deportation flight at a time.

The left will complain, as they always do. They’ll call it “cruel,” “inhumane,” or “xenophobic.” But what’s actually cruel is allowing millions of people to enter a country illegally, overwhelming schools, hospitals, and law enforcement, while legal immigrants wait for years to do it the right way.

So buckle up, because ICE Air is cleared for takeoff. With six shiny new 737s and a commander-in-chief who actually believes in enforcing immigration law, it’s a new era of accountability. And for once, it’s the lawbreakers who are being shown the door — or, in this case, the jet bridge.
