Elon Shuts Down Fake News Outlet That Was Propped up by YOUR Tax Dollars

Fake news Young man using laptop Daily News Journal Update Fake news

None of the reporters and staffers at Politico got their paychecks this week. When that news first broke on Monday, most of us in MAGA world shrugged it off, if the story even crossed our radar at all. Another leftist media outlet just went broke due to a lack of subscribers? Big whoop! But there is so much more to this story…

It turns out that Politico not paying its staffers at the first of the month coincided with Elon Musk and DOGE team shutting down the funding for the US Agency for International Development (USAID)—the CIA front that has been siphoning trillions of taxpayer dollars to fund leftist programs that promote things like DEI and transgenderism all over the world.

Trump wasn’t kidding when he called Politico and other outlets “fake news.”

Politico’s headquarters is based in Alexandria, VA. It’s right in the heart of the swamp, in other words. Even though it was a for-profit news company, it turns out that Politico has been receiving grants from federal agencies the past few years. All those grants were funneled to Politico through USAID as if it’s some foreign non-profit digging new drinking water wells in Sudan or something.

It’s no wonder Democrats in Congress are calling for protests outside the USAID building and issuing death threats against Elon Musk and the DOGE team. Their taxpayer-funded gravy train has come to an end. When the USAID funding was cut off, nobody at Politico got paid on the first of the month!

We were not kidding on Monday when we said this USAID debacle was going to be the biggest political scandal in history. We just had no idea that it was going to uncover a level of fraud and abuse of the American taxpayers like this. Politico is just the tip of the iceberg, folks.

Now that the USAID data has all been made public by Musk’s team, we’re starting to learn the scope of just how deep the corruption runs. The “independent” “news” outlet Politico has been the recipient of $8.2 million in taxpayer grants. That’s not cash that Politico received over a period of decades.

Politico started receiving taxpayer funds in 2020, the year that the election was stolen from Donald Trump. You know, when the entire media started insisting that the Hunter Biden laptop was “Russian disinformation” and there was “no evidence” of voter fraud? The cash peaked in 2024 and has now dropped back down to zero.

Here’s the breakdown of how YOUR tax dollars were funneled to Politico, starting when the fake and unelected Joe Biden regime entered the White House:

$1.37 million from the Department of Health and Human Services; $1.35 million from the Department of the Interior; $1.29 million from the Department of Energy; $552,024 from the Department of Agriculture; and $485,572 from the Department of Commerce.

Politico also received $516,071 from the Food and Drug Administration for “Salaries;” $503,337 from the Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Office; $434,426 from the Advanced Technology Vehicles Manufacturing Loan Program; and $434,426 from the Tribal Energy Loan Guarantee Program.

Hey, Native American tribes! How do you feel about Politico getting hundreds of thousands of dollars that was intended for tribal energy loan assistance last year? Does that seem like a good use of taxpayer money? Looks like the “news” organization Politico needed some help paying their electric bill over the winter or something.

Why do you suppose Politico was getting grant money from the FDA right during the middle of COVID? No wonder the fake news media was willing to push every lie that Tony Fauci and his crew were spreading about the origins of COVID and the unsafe and ineffective COVID mRNA shots. (“Take them while you’re pregnant, ladies! Trust us!”)

Why was Politico taking grant money from the Advanced Technology Vehicles Manufacturing Loan Program? Were they designing some snappy new electric car in their basement? Or is it more likely that they were paid that cash via the Biden regime to propagandize the American people as Biden was pushing his EV mandates and Green New Deal policies on us?

We guarantee that this is just the tip of the fake news iceberg. Musk and his team are going to uncover shocking amounts of fraud at USAID and other federal agencies.

The implication of this is that the “independent” news media really was taxpayer-funded propaganda on behalf of the Democrat Party and Permanent Washington all this time. Politico won’t turn out to be the only “media” outlet that was funded by our tax dollars to extol the virtues of Kamala Harris while smearing Donald Trump and MAGA as extremist Nazi white supremacists.

We can’t wait to see who else suddenly can’t pay their staffers now that USAID has been shut down. How is everyone doing over at the New York Times and Washington Post, by the way?
