President Donald Trump gave a speech to the troops at Fort Bragg earlier this week. The media was simultaneously apoplectic and baffled. After all, speaking to the troops is proof to the media that the president is literally Hitler.
Then, it sunk in that the troops really like Donald Trump a lot—and that the soldiers also hate the media. Uh oh! If President Trump really is an authoritarian dictator who’s going to flip the switch one day soon and throw his enemies into camps, that’s bad news for all the people he dislikes!
The speech that the president gave to the troops was pretty standard. He let them know that he wasn’t going to let them down or stab them in the back the way that Diaper Joe did. Trump ripped into California Governor Gavin Newsom and Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass for the way they botched the handling of the riots this week. He mocked men who play in women’s sports. Trump also made fun of the fake news media, which was there to cover the speech.
What truly has the liberals upset about the speech is that the troops didn’t boo Donald Trump. Instead, they booed Gavin Newsom and the enemy of the people fake news media.
That is NOT ALLOWED in the military, according to liberals who have never served in the military.
If you’re on social media, a lot of Democrats are suddenly pretending to care about Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 1344.10. That’s the rule that prohibits the troops from actively participating in political activities.
You caught us, liberals. Trump is running again in 2028 and this rally for the troops was really a campaign event. Dang it!
All kidding aside, Trump was there to do two things and it wasn’t a campaign event. He was there to announce to the troops that they no longer have a Commander in Chief who is ashamed of the military. Trump has directed the Department of Defense to change the embarrassing woke names that the Biden regime gave to military bases. And yes, that includes bases that were named after legendary Confederate military officers.
Trump was also there to reassure the troops that he wasn’t going to squander their lives in another “forever war” for the globalists—but that he might be calling on them one day soon to defend this country. He pointed out that he had deployed the US Marines to Los Angeles to help restore order. The US Army troops cheered at that.
That must be infuriating to the liberal mindset. Liberals love the idea of sending the troops off to die in some pointless regime change war in a sh*thole country halfway around the world. They don’t mind activating the National Guard to rip homeschooled children out of their mother’s arms and force them into public schools. (This actually happened in the 1800s.)
Liberals also thought it was fantastic when Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D) sent National Guard troops into suburban neighborhoods to shoot Americans on their front porches with paintball guns for violating his COVID lockdowns. You thought we forgot about that, didn’t you, Tampon Tim?

Anyway, liberals are fine with the idea of using the US military against American citizens or people in foreign countries (so long as the foreign intervention offers no benefit whatsoever to America). But as for the troops wanting to defend the country and the cities they grew up in from invading barbarians?

The troops have now arrested more than 400 incredibly stupid illegal aliens in Los Angeles in less than a week. It makes me want them to keep rioting! They’re making ICE’s job so much easier! Did those dummies think they weren’t going to get arrested after attacking US Marines and ICE agents? Seriously?!
This is far easier than raiding the Home Depot parking lot. Just let Gavin Newsom keep encouraging the illegal aliens to riot. They’ll run right up to the troops!
As for the troops violating military rules by cheering President Trump and booing the media, that’s just nonsense. They’re allowed to react to the Commander in Chief, and it wasn’t a political event. If that was even close to being a political rally, then what was this:
