‘Central Park Five’ Try to Get Another Easy Payday Out of Donald Trump

US President Donald Trump and First Lady of the US Melania Trump arrive for a working dinner at The Parc du Cinquantenaire in Brussels, Belgium on Jul. 11, 2018.

The “Central Park Five” case was one of the most notorious crimes of the 1980s. Patricia Meili was jogging in Central Park, New York, when The Five and multiple unidentified perpetrators attacked her, dragged her 300 yards off the jogging trail into the woods, gang-raped her, and bashed her in the head with a rock until her eyeball popped out of the socket. They were found guilty and sent to prison for the crime.

Patricia was in a coma for 12 days and suffered brain damage. After a bogus “exoneration” years later, Pothead Bill DeBlasio gave the rapists a $41 million payout. They must have blown through the money since The Five are now suing Donald Trump for defamation.

Crime was sky-high in New York City in the pre-Mayor Rudy Giuliani days. At the time of the Central Park Five case, Donald Trump took out a full-page ad in the New York Times denouncing crime in general. He didn’t specifically name The Five. He said New York should bring back the death penalty as a deterrent. That’s why The Five are now trying to get an easy payday out of him.

While they were in prison, The Five convinced a sixth perpetrator who was already serving a life sentence to claim that he alone had raped and beaten Patricia Meili. Matias Reyes was going to spend the rest of his life behind bars anyway, so he took the full blame for the crime to get his other friends released from prison. It worked and a judge overturned their convictions. The Five—who are now helpfully referred to as The Exonerated by Wikipedia—then sued the city.

Pothead Bill didn’t even have prosecutors fight the obvious shakedown. He just gave them $41 million in taxpayer money right away.

People who laud The Five as our new civil rights leaders like to point out that none of their DNA was found on Patricia Meili at the time of the attack. This is a dumb argument. DNA was in its infancy in 1989 and no sane prosecutor would have tried to use DNA in court—and police didn’t look for DNA at crime scenes. They relied on other forms of physical evidence and confessions.

For example, all the members of The Five had grass stains and Patricia Meili’s blood in their underpants. What a remarkable coincidence!

Several members of The Five were arrested the night of the attack for general mayhem in Central Park. Multiple people had been attacked and mugged by groups of black teenage boys. Patricia Meili was still lying in a ditch with her eyeball hanging out when three members of The Five were arrested and taken to the precinct. Cops had no idea yet that she had been raped or that she was lying in the woods in a coma.

When he was in the back of a squad car, Richard Santana admitted, “I had nothing to do with the rape. All I did was feel the woman’s tits.”

Cops knew nothing about the rape at this point. In addition to committing sexual battery against her during the rape, Santana also had Patricia’s Walkman in his pocket.

Kevin Richardson and another boy told police that Antron McCray had done “the murder.”

Again—cops had no idea that the crimes against Patricia Meili had happened at this point. The next morning, Richardson led the police to the location where the attack had taken place. Before he was arrested that night, Richardson told someone from another group, “We just raped somebody.”

Korey Wise, another member of The Five, admitted to two friends the next day that he and his friends had raped a woman and made her bleed. “That was us!” he bragged as the sensational story was making headlines.

Wise also told his friend’s sister that he had “only held her legs down while Kevin [Richardson] f—ed her.” She thought it would help Wise’s case, so she confessed his admission to police.

Since this obviously isn’t being taught in urban civics classes these days, it’s worth noting: If you hold a woman’s legs down while your friends rape her, you are also guilty of rape. Apparently, that needs to be said.

On top of all that, the civil rights icons in The Five made videotaped confessions to police with their parents in the room. They were not frail, “coerced” teens as their defenders like to claim. They all confessed and ratted each other out.

Some of them confessed to the crime before the police even knew the crime had taken place. The ones who weren’t arrested until the following day all bragged to friends who testified against them that they had raped and “murdered” Patricia Meili.

Do you know who agrees with Donald Trump about the guilt of the Central Park Five?

Patricia Meili!

She survived her horrific injuries. Doctors managed to put her eyeball back in the socket. She required years of plastic surgery operations and still has brain damage. But even she is disgusted that Pothead Bill DeBlasio gave The Five a big payout without contesting their lawsuit for “wrongful conviction.”

She also remembers enough of the attack to know that Matias Reyes did not rape her by himself. Back before they hated Donald Trump, the media used to treat Patricia like the victim of a horrible crime. Now they won’t even talk to her.

One of the rapists, Yusuf Salaam, had Patricia Meili’s blood on his jacket. Multiple youths admitted that they saw Salaam rape her. When police suggested to Salaam that they would find fingerprints on Patricia’s clothing, he immediately confessed to raping her. He was elected to the New York City Council last year.

The sad thing about all this is that if the case ends up in front of another Trump-hating judge in New York City, The Five will probably be granted a big payout from him.
