Biden Takes a Page Out of Justin Trudeau’s Authoritarian Handbook—Declares State of Emergency as First Protest Trucks Arrive in Washington

Remember the summer of 2020? Remember the lockdowns and the masks and the Black Lives Matter “protests”?

Remember how cities across America had businesses burned to the ground, stores looted and cars set on fire, while rioting destroyed already struggling businesses?

Well, it seems that none of that was bad enough to be disavowed by Democrats as radicals destroyed the country.

But when The People get together, who have real grievances with the tyranny that has been allowed to fester in America – suddenly it’s a problem.

A national emergency has been declared by the Biden administration, in the lead up to the coming Freedom Convoy in Washington D.C.

Biden claimed that the People’s Convoy, another name its known by, is posing a threat to national security and says that there is potential for a terror attack.

After Trudeau enacted his “Emergencies Act,” essentially giving himself ultimate power to punish his dissenters, Biden has decided to follow suit by condemning The People’s right to free speech and is now actively trying to shut it down.

Nancy Pelosi, the wino Speaker of the House was given an executive letter from Biden’s handlers, that said:

“Section 202(d) of the National Emergencies Act (50 U.S.C. 1622(d)) ‘provides for the automatic termination of a national emergency unless, within 90 days prior to the anniversary date of its declaration, the President publishes in the Federal Register and transmits to the Congress a notice stating that the emergency is to continue in effect beyond the anniversary date.’”

“In accordance with this provision, I have sent to the Federal Register for publication the enclosed notice stating that the national emergency declared in Proclamation 9994 of March 13, 2020, beginning March 1, 2020, concerning the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, is to continue in effect beyond March 1, 2022,” the letter adds.

Biden is using the COVID pandemic as a cover, saying that the national emergency will continue, including through the Freedom Convoy’s arrival in Washington D.C.

“The COVID-19 pandemic continues to cause significant risk to the public health and safety of the Nation,” Biden’s letter further states. “More than 900,000 people in this Nation have perished from the disease, and it is essential to continue to combat and respond to COVID-19 with the full capacity and capability of the Federal Government.”

Conveniently, the national emergency that was Delacroix by Donald Trump when the pandemic first began, is now being extended just as it was due to expire.

Very convenient that this is happening right around the time people are really fed up with mandates and vaccine passports.

Meanwhile to the North, PM Justin Trudeau is using his newfound authoritarian powers to persecute peaceful protesters in Ottawa.  The police with no identification, wearing riot gear, were especially violent to protesters. Police on horses trampled protesters in the city. Even worse, Trudeau allowed the police to compile an “enemies list” to identify everyone who was at the protests.

Interim police chief of Ottawa, Steve Bell, recent replacement of former chief Peter Soly, who quit over Trudeau’s authoritarianism, announced:

“If you are involved in this protest, we will actively look to identify you and follow up with financial sanctions and criminal charges,”

“This investigation will go on for months to come. It has many, many different streams, both from a federal financial level, from a provincial licensing level, from a criminal code level, from a municipal breach of court injunction level. It will be a complicated and time-consuming investigation that will go on for a period of time. You have my commitment that the investigation will continue and we will hold people accountable for taking our streets over.”

Remember this when the midterms arrive.
