When President Donald Trump was convicted in a rigged New York trial Joe Biden instantly took to social media saying that “nobody is above the law,” but apparently, that does not apply to the members of his own family.
Hunter Biden was recently convicted on three federal gun charges which could earn him 25 years in prison but it seems Joe has ZERO intention of letting his convicted felon son see the inside of a jail cell.
In a press briefing, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre refused to rule out the possibility of a commutation, stating, “As we all know, the sentencing hasn’t even been scheduled yet.”
Naturally, this response has led many to speculate that Joe Biden FULLY intends to abuse his power as president and pardon Hunter so he never has to spend a day in jail. So much for nobody being above the law!
As for Joe himself, he’s made some confusing claims about his plans which ultimately suggest that daddy is going to protect Hunter no matter what.
Biden publicly stated in the past that he will not pardon his son but that was before Hunter was convicted and before Jean-Pierre refused to affirm his earlier statement. Her refusal made it pretty obvious a pardon is definitely on the table.
Politically this could be a bad look for President Biden. He said “nobody is above the law” when referring to Donald Trump, but if he pardons his son it will show he believes that doesn’t apply to him and his family. But consider this… Hunter likely won’t be sentenced until August or September. And then even after that he won’t have to start his prison sentence until November or later, just in time for the election. The day after the election, whether Joe Biden wins or loses, he’ll commute Hunter’s sentence.
As KJP suggests, a commutation is the most likely outcome – which would keep him out of jail while still labeling him a felon.
For any normal American having a felony on their record could ruin their lives, impacting their ability to get a job, earn an income, vote, own a firearm, and much more – but when your daddy is president you get to live above the law.
Considering the fact that he earns the bulk of his income off of selling influence over America to foreign governments, committing treason in doing so, it’s safe to say a felony conviction won’t hurt Hunter’s ability to earn for the Biden crime syndicate one bit.
If anything it might actually help the Biden’s earn MORE money from foreign countries as it proves how truly powerful they are.
The gun-charges that Hunter has been found guilty of are indicative of a much broader pattern of the Biden family showing a blatant disregard for the law.
This case truly exposed what a massive hypocrite Joe Biden is and only further reinforces the narrative that he has weaponized the justice system to go after his foremost political rival in Donald Trump.
It’s unlikely that Hunter will even get a harsh sentence in the first place considering that the judge presiding over the case just issued a 6-month sentence to someone else with similar charges, but still, if Biden follows through with the commutation as everything is suggesting he will, it sets a dangerous new precedent for America showing the world how incredibly corrupt Joe really is.
