During President Joe Biden’s reign of terror, getting together with family and friends to celebrate America’s independence on July 4 became a bank-breaking luxury many America couldn’t afford. But now that we have a president in office who actually cares about the American people… that’s finally changing!
From the moment Biden took office, Americans were crushed by BRUTAL left-wing economic policies which gave us record high inflation which EVERYONE felt – despite the liberal media telling us the economy was “doing great” and Americans were “thriving.”
By the end of Biden’s presidency in July 2024, the cost to host a cookout – a staple of American culture – was the highest EVER recorded. Hosting 10 people would cost you on average $71.22 which doesn’t seem so bad… until you realize that in 2019 this number was just $52.80.
The Biden regime proved that Democrat policies send the cost of a simple independence day celebration skyrocketing by more than 30%!
Every subsequent year, the number would just keep going higher and higher like a runaway train which working class Americans wages never caught up to.
Thankfully, President Donald Trump has FINALLY put a stop to the bleeding and Americans are finally starting to get some reprieve from the devastation caused by Biden-era economics.
In less than 6 months as president, Trump has managed to bring down year-over-year inflation rates to levels not heard of under Biden and while prices remain elevated, for the first time in four years, we’re actually going in the RIGHT direction!
According to the American Farm Bureau Federation’s latest report, a July 4 cookout including cheeseburgers, pork chops, chicken, potato salad, fruit, ice cream, and other picnic staples for 10 guests will cost roughly $70.92 in 2025.
This marks a 30 cent drop from the record high $71.22 number in 2024 and you may be thinking ‘it’s just 30 cents, who cares?’ But the bigger deal is the trend change.
With Biden (or whoever was controlling him) leading this country down a dark path, the average cost of a July 4 cookout would increase by nearly 5% annually. This lower number in Trump’s first year (-0.42%) suggests a complete reversal which is here to stay.
“After years of sharp food inflation, prices for many Fourth of July staples are finally beginning to level out,” AFBF admitted. “While some prices, particularly for proteins, will continue to be volatile due to disease pressures and labor costs, others are stabilizing thanks to improving supply chains and easing input prices.”
What this really means is that Trump’s policies are WORKING and they’re not just working for those elitists in Washington, D.C. – they’re working for middle class Americans who have been completely trampled over by the Democratic party in their quest for socialism.
The mainstream media has desperately tried to convince America that Trump’s tariff strategy will “devastate” the working class and send inflation soaring… but CLEARLY that’s not the case.
In less than half a year, Trump has already made life more affordable for the American people – and it’s just the start!
