Why John Bolton Deserves Everything That’s About to Happen to Him

President Donald Trump came within an inch of brokering a peace and unification deal between North Korea and South Korea in 2019. That would have ended a 70-year war, reunited families who had been separated by the DMZ for generations, and taken away a puppet state that Red China uses to stir up trouble in that part of the world. It could have been one of the crowning achievements of Trump’s first term in office. But John Bolton effed the whole thing up.

FBI agents raided Bolton’s home and office on Friday. We haven’t spoken about it much, because we didn’t have any details yet. We now have a much clearer picture of why Bolton will soon be facing federal charges. It relates directly back to Bolton’s marching orders from the Deep State in 2019, which were to destroy the Korean peace talks no matter what.

Bolton’s job from April 2018 until September 2019 was National Security Advisor to President Trump. We can’t exactly say that Bolton “served” President Trump, because his every waking moment was spent undermining the president’s America First foreign policy initiatives.

By June 2018, Trump had achieved something that everyone in the Washington foreign policy establishment had thought was impossible. He had coaxed “Little Rocket Man” Kim Jong Un to come to the negotiating table with the US and South Korea. Trump and Kim met in Singapore for a historic summit. They signed a joint statement committing to denuclearization and improved relations.

Bolton tried to sabotage that first summit. His advice to President Trump was to cancel the summit. This was advice that Bolton offered without even talking to the South Koreans. Trump ultimately chose to proceed with the summit, but that action made Bolton’s intentions clear. He wanted to derail the talks.

Trump next arranged talks in Hanoi, which were set for February 2019. Teams of negotiators from the US, North Korea, and South Korea were set to meet. US envoy Stephen Biegun had drafted a deal that should have been signed during those talks. In exchange for limited sanctions relief from the US, North Korea would agree to shut down its Yongbyon nuclear facility. This was a done deal. Biegun was going to make it happen at the wishes of President Trump and the United States.

But Biegun never showed up at the meeting. The guy who had drafted the deal, which President Trump had signed off on, was sidelined. John Bolton walked into the Hanoi summit instead and blew up the entire agreement. He also insulted the South Koreans for good measure. This made restarting talks during Trump’s first term all but impossible. The whole thing fell apart.

Trump fired Bolton on September 10, 2019, which brings us back to today.

On the day that Trump canned him, the FBI says that Bolton started frantically emailing highly classified documents to his wife and daughter. This next part will sound familiar to Hillary Clinton fans. The FBI says that Bolton used an off-the-books private server to hide the classified docs that he was stealing from the US government.

The FBI learned about this later and launched a criminal investigation into John Bolton over stealing highly classified secrets. That didn’t happen until Joe Biden was in office, however. Biden liked the fact that John Bolton was constantly on CNN bashing Donald Trump, so he shut the FBI investigation down in 2021.

About a month after Kash Patel became the new FBI Director, he asked senior agents to brief him on any “sensitive” investigations that had been curiously shut down by Joe Biden and former Director Christopher Wray. Those senior agents told Patel that this John Bolton situation was serious, and they were all left scratching their heads when Biden/Wray shut it down without explanation.

Patel initially thought they were talking about the investigation into Bolton’s stupid book that no one ever read. The agents assured him that this was an entirely different case that they thought was “air-tight.”

Agents who spoke with the New York Post about the raids on Friday said they recovered “a lot” of stolen classified secrets from Bolton’s home, and “a bunch” of additional classified docs at his office.

So, this case isn’t President Trump seeking “retribution” against his political enemies. John Bolton deserves everything that’s coming his way. He earned every year that he will likely spend in prison for his alleged crimes, and then some.
