Rhode Island Democrats Push Crippling Taxes for Parents of Unvaccinated Children

States like Texas and Florida should start getting ready for a massive influx of new refugees. The Democrats who control the state legislature in Rhode Island are about to make it too expensive for anyone to live there if they choose to not receive a COVID vaccine. Democrats are pushing a new bill through the legislature that would impose crippling penalties on employers who won’t fire unvaccinated workers, and on adults who choose not to be vaccinated. Even stiffer penalties would be imposed on parents who choose not to inject their children with the experimental gene serums that we’re calling “COVID vaccines.” This bill is crazy.

The only place in the world that has gotten more restrictive and crazier than Rhode Island is Communist China. You’ve probably seen the totalitarian lockdowns in Shanghai on the news recently. It’s horrible over there. (And yes, we know there’s not really a COVID outbreak there, and that China’s economy is collapsing, and they need something to blame that collapse on besides all the communism.)

Australia and New Zealand’s leaders also went coocoo for COVID powers and imposed some insane fines on the residents for non-mask compliance and for not getting vaccinated.

But Australia and New Zealand’s insanity doesn’t even come close to Rhode Island’s Senate bill 2552. Even California is less crazy than Rhode Island when it comes to forcing parents to vaccinate their kids. California’s leaders backed down recently because too many parents objected to play vaccine roulette with their kids. But in Rhode Island, some polling indicates that as many as 65% of adults support a universal COVID vaccine mandate. So, the legislature is going to give it to them good and hard.

For starters, SB 2552 will require employers to verify the vaccine status of their employees. Employees have to be up-to-date and have the required number of shots and boosters if they want to safely keep their jobs. Employers will be required to fire unvaccinated employees, or they will face a $5,000 per month fine for every unvaccinated worker.

Individuals will have to pay a $50 per day fine for being unvaccinated if they want to have a job in Rhode Island. That works out to an annual fine of $18,250 for not risking your life on a COVID shot. Or, $36,500 for an unvaccinated married couple.

The $50 a day fine also applies to all children aged 10 and up. So, for a married couple with two unvaccinated teenagers, the fine would work out to $73,000 per year.

They’re not even done punishing unvaccinated Rhode Islanders at that point. On top of those already-crippling fines, SB 2552 will also double your state income tax if you don’t mail in proof of your vaccination status to the state’s treasury department. Whatever your state income taxes are in Rhode Island, multiply them by 2 if you’re unvaccinated.

Democrat state Senator Sam Bell is the author of this monstrosity in Rhode Island. He tweeted this week, “It’s time for us to pass my mandate bill. Cases are rising again. Surrender isn’t working.”

The beatings will continue until morale improves!

These lunatics actually seem to believe that A) COVID is a lot more dangerous than it really is, B) that the vaccines work, and C) that we will somehow be able to get to “COVID Zero” and completely eliminate the virus. None of this is based in reality.

Yes, cases are up in some places, but hospitalizations and deaths are way down. That’s because the virus is weakening with every new variant (which is what viruses tend to do). The vaccines don’t work and they’re dangerous. And completely eliminating COVID will be impossible because the virus can pass back and forth between humans. That’s why we keep getting newer and weaker variants all the time.

Even if we had a vaccine that worked and that actually prevented COVID (which we don’t), do these lunatics believe they’d be able to go out and vaccinate every squirrel and bat in the forests of America? Because that’s what “COVID Zero” would require!

Anyway, Texas and Florida had better brace themselves for an influx of unvaccinated Rhode Islanders. This bill stands a good chance of passing and becoming law. Then it will be too expensive for unvaccinated people to live there. And when Rhode Island’s economy collapses due to the exodus of so many workers and they try to blame Putin, we can all point and laugh at them.
