Europe has destroyed itself as a serious place. Through globalization and mass migration from the Third World, their unelected EU leadership has cut their throats economically, culturally, spiritually, and often quite literally in the streets. European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen is praising the new EU trade deal struck with President Donald Trump as fantastic for businesses and individuals on both sides. Which is hilarious!
Europe has been sucking the American taxpayer dry for the past 80 years. We won World War II with the help of the Allied forces. But then it somehow became our responsibility to pay for European countries to rebuild their economies and infrastructure. That was the Marshall Plan, which “officially” ended in 1951.
Except it never really ended.
We just call the Marshall Plan “foreign assistance” now, and many additional countries that were never even involved in World War II are on that gravy train. This massive wealth transfer from the United States to the rest of the world has been going on for decades. None of those countries have met their NATO obligations in decades because we’ve paid for nearly their entire defense. And they gobble up foreign aid on top of that.
Then Europeans walk around and say, “Look at us! Socialism totally works! We give all our people FREE healthcare!”
No you don’t, you weenies. You’re able to give massive welfare benefits to your citizens because Americans pay for all your tanks and planes.
That all ends with the new Trump US-EU trade deal.
We’ll assume that most people have seen the classic film “The Godfather Part 2” with Al Pacino. There’s a great scene in which a corrupt US Senator is trying to extract a bribe from Mob boss Michael Corleone (Pacino). After the Senator makes his demands, Corleone famously responds:
“My offer is this. Nothing.”
He then demands that the corrupt Senator personally pay for the Mafia’s casino gaming license in Las Vegas.
That’s what just happened with this new trade deal that President Trump negotiated with the EU. Let’s look at the details.
All 27 EU countries now agree to pay a 15% tariff on all exports to America. In exchange, all EU countries agree to not charge tariffs on any goods imported from the US. A 15% tariff in exchange for a 0% tariff.
They AGREED to this!
The EU has agreed to invest $600 billion in new job-creating business ventures in the USA. In exchange, the EU gets… nothing!
The EU has agreed to purchase “hundreds of billions of dollars” worth of military equipment from the USA. In exchange for this, the EU gets… nothing!
And finally, the EU has agreed to purchase $750 billion worth of exported, tariff-free, liquified natural gas from the USA. That will be split up over three $250 billion payments over the next three years. In exchange, the EU gets… nothing!

How does he keep doing this? For the past 80 years, we have seen a one-way transfer of wealth out of the United States and into Europe to our “allies.” Trump just completely reversed that. The EU gets absolutely nothing out of this deal, while the US will be raking in trillions of dollars.
And they agreed to it!
A 15% tariff on European goods is low enough that it won’t affect consumer prices here in the US. There won’t be any inflation for us because of this deal. Based on 2024 trade output, the deal should immediately begin generating $90 billion per year in new tariff revenue from Europe.
As we have pointed out, that puts the USA at $700 billion a year in new revenue from outside the country. Once Trump hits $750 billion a year—which he should after he announced the Asian trade deal in a few days—the administration will have “line of sight” to eliminating income taxes for 93% of all Americans. Look for that announcement sometime in the spring or summer of 2026.
The entire reason why the European Union was formed was to create a trade bloc superpower that could compete with the United States. Trump just ripped the curtain away and exposed them as weak, naked little countries that need to play by our rules, instead of America playing by theirs. This is amazing. We truly are about to enter the new Golden Age for the USA!
