Documents that have just been released under a FOIA lawsuit show that America’s intelligence agencies were extremely alarmed when Kamala Harris chose Tim Walz as her running mate last year. The intel agencies had been worried about “Tampon” Tim since 1989, because of the many trips that he took to Communist China. Even if Walz is not a full-fledged agent of the CCP (which is possible), he was way too friendly with the communist regime. Naturally, the Biden regime said nothing to the American voters about the intel agencies’ concerns.
The Department of Homeland Security has a specialized counterintelligence group called the Nation State Threat — National Functional Team (NST-NFT). The group specifically monitors foreign communications between hostile foreign nations and local, state, and federal elected officials. There are limitations to how much NST-NFT can monitor the communications of Members of Congress, the President, and the Vice President. But governors are fair game.
One of the main jobs of NST-NFT is monitoring “subnational engagement” between the Chicoms and American officials.
Then, on August 6 last year, there he was. A man that NST-NFT had been monitoring for years because of his subnational engagements with the Chinese Communist Party was suddenly prancing around on stage—and could have potentially become the Vice President of the United States.
Tim Walz had made 30 trips to China between 1994 and 2005. He married his wife, Gwen, on June 4, 1994, to commemorate the Tiananmen Square Massacre that left 2,600 peaceful protesters dead and more than 10,000 injured. They spent their honeymoon in China, after what must have been a freakin’ romance for the ages.
Mrs. Walz, of course, is characterized by her incredible inner strength. She loves the smell of burning tires. Plus, imagine how many times that woman has accidentally caught her husband covered in baby oil and glitter. Are you that committed to your marriage?
The NST-NFT has an internal chat system where they discuss ongoing threats and revelations. On August 7, that chat system exploded with activity. Agents were freaked out by the fact that a guy who calls the Chinese “such kind, generous, capable people” had been chosen as Kamala’s running mate.
“China is happy,” wrote one Homeland Security agent in the chat. They weren’t kidding.
More than 12 million Chinese people were excitedly discussing Tim Walz on Weibo that same day. Weibo is sort of a hybrid Twitter-style and Facebook-style social media channel in China. Users were thrilled about the prospect of the governor of Minnesota potentially becoming the next Vice President. How did they even know who the governor of Minnesota was?
One Weibo user pointed out that Tampon Tim’s “unique background gives him a real perspective on China.”
Another excitedly declared that Walz could “promote cultural exchanges between China and the United States at a time when… relations are extremely difficult.”
The Chinese were super-hyped by Tim Walz, and the NST-NFT team was watching all this. In fact, Walz was one of the key figures that NST-NFT had been watching since the creation of the group. They were freaked out.
The NST-NFT is only allowed to monitor communications between US officials and the Chinese when they happen overseas, such as a phone call that originates in China. They can’t do anything domestically. The agents were so worried about Tim Walz that they decided to loop the FBI into the investigation of Walz.
The NST-NFT chats totaled 47 pages in length that first day after Walz was announced as Kamala’s running mate. The pages were released to the House Oversight Committee last year, but the Biden regime then classified the chat logs to prevent them from ever becoming public.
Because of course they did.
Judicial Watch learned about the chat logs and the cover-up, so they issued a FOIA request for the pages. The DHS refused to turn them over, so Judicial Watch sued. Current DHS Secretary Kristi Noem laid the whole thing to rest this week by declassifying the pages and releasing them to Judicial Watch.
Walz continues to praise China to this day. He hasn’t slowed down a bit in showing his undying admiration for them. He claims that China is the only nation that has the “moral authority” to negotiate peace deals between other countries (implying that Donald Trump lacks moral authority to do the same).
The few conservative media outlets that have covered this story have reached out to Tim Walz for comment. Why were US intelligence agencies so freaked out when he became the vice-presidential nominee last year? Tampon Tim has no comment.
