Great News: The Biden Agenda is Stalling out Earlier Than Expected

There are only two times when Congress actually gets anything done. The first is the “honeymoon” phase of a new administration, which is roughly within the first 100 days. The second is at the end of the calendar year, when they remember that they were supposed to pass funding bills to keep the government running.

I’ve been saying for a couple of months that if we can stall the Biden regime’s agenda until the first of May, we’ll be able to breathe much easier. They’ll still hold lots of blustery hearings for the cameras after that, but the Democrats will be unable to pass any Obamacare-style legislation.

And there’s great news on the horizon: Biden’s big, bold socialism ideas for America are stalling out even quicker than expected.

I was genuinely worried that they’d be able to ram at least one big nation-destroying idea through before the first of May. That was why it was actually good news that the Democrats wasted so much time getting all fussy and huffy about freshman Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia, and impeaching Donald Trump a second time. Those were a hyuuuge wastes of time. They helped to run out the clock and push us much closer to May 1st.

The economic damage that the Biden regime is doing to the country is now facing resistance from his own party. No one voted for the things that the Bidenites are trying to push through. Here are three big-ticket examples:

The Border Calamity. One Border Patrol administration estimates that the number of “got-aways” could be 300% higher than the number that they’re catching this year. CBP intercepted 100,000 illegal aliens in February – but 300,000 might have simply escaped into the interior. Every thinking person agrees this is way too many, under any circumstance.

The Bidenites are reportedly preparing to resettle 800,000 “family” illegal aliens in the country this year. Where could we possibly put them all?

That’s more than the population of Wyoming, Vermont, Alaska or North Dakota. If you plopped those 800,000 illegals down in one location, that location would become the 17th largest city in America. That’s bigger than Seattle or Denver. There’s simply not enough available housing in the country for us to take jin these enormous numbers of invaders. And when Biden forces them on certain cities, it will destroy local housing and rental markets.

No one voted for this. The extreme unpopularity of an amnesty bill, coupled with a humanitarian crisis that obviously started after Donald Trump left office, is facing too much pushback. All of the reported amnesty bills are stalling right now as moderate Democrats (there are a few) are backing away from supporting them.

Vote Fraud Enshrinement. HR1 would make all of the “anomalies” of the 2020 election become the law of the land. But the pushback against this has been tremendous. Support for voter ID laws is up across the board. Even black voters support voter ID at a rate of over 60% — and they’re the ones that Joe Biden claims are too ignorant to obtain a government-issued ID for voting. They just can’t overcome that hurdle that every 15- or 16-year-old kid in America somehow manages to accomplish for a driver’s license.

No one believes this. Even in Georgia, which is in the spotlight for passing some election integrity bills recently, it’s totally free to get a government-issued ID. It doesn’t cost anything, so who are these morons in Georgia that Joe Biden claims can’t afford an ID?

HR1 is dying on the vine because a wide margin of Americans opposes the ridiculous provisions in it.

Gun Control. Americans have been responding in large numbers to the calls for gun control the same way that they always do: By buying lots of guns. Democrats have a huge swath of unconstitutional gun control bills ready to go. But once again, the pushback and the lack of support is tremendous. Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT) now admits that they just don’t have the votes in the Senate to impose a gun registry on the people. If he’s admitting this out loud, then the behind-the-scenes talks and polling of the Democrats must be atrocious.

We’re not out of the woods yet. But I’m a lot more confident at this point that time is running out for the Biden “honeymoon.” They’ll still annoy us a lot until the 2022 midterms, but at least it’s starting to look like they won’t get any nation-destroying bills passed.
