In an effort to “own” President Donald Trump, the Democrats may have made one of the biggest blunders of all time – ADMITTING that their own policies created one of the WORST economies this country has ever seen!
From the X account “TheDemocrats” which is effectively the main account for the Democratic party on the platform, the left-wing party posted a chart which they THOUGHT would be a slam-dunk against President Trump… and quickly found out what a mistake that was…
The chart titled “U.S. Grocery Prices Reached Record Highs in 2025” was posted along with the caption “Trump’s America.”
But evidently, they didn’t bother to actually look at the data in this chart beyond simply reading the title because what it really showed was not a reflection of Trump and his policies – but rather of President Joe Biden and the Democrat policies he peddled!

The graph shows that during Trump’s first term, prices remained low – even throughout COVID. When he left office the prices were virtually unchanged from the pre-COVID levels.
But as soon as Joe Biden got into the White House and the socialist lefties started spending money like crazy, that changed almost overnight. Prices SKYROCKETTED for every major food category – from cheese and grocery to produce and meat.
While prices continued to increase throughout Biden’s term, the biggest jump came initially in 2021 when those Democrat policies really went into effect.
The funniest part is that the graph ends in October 2024 but Trump didn’t even take office until January 2025 – which mean that the braindead Democrats literally posted a chart of Biden’s America and tried to pass it off as being Trump’s fault while thinking that the American people were too stupid to read the data for themselves.
Naturally, social media users tore them to pieces over what might have actually been one of the dumbest posts EVER. Some people thought the post was satire until they realized it actually came from the main Democrat account. Others took the liberty of labeling the graph to show who the president actually was during those years.

Eventually, the post was deleted by the account but it was too late – the damage had already been done.
Perhaps the best part of all of this is that these Democrats are the same people who were telling us all throughout Biden’s term that inflation was basically “just a figment of our imagination.”
They told us there was no meaningful inflation and fudged the numbers to make it seem like we were all just going crazy for believing inflation was high… even though we were paying double and triple for basic everyday items.
Practically mocking us, they passed the “Inflation Reduction Act” which spent more than a TRILLION dollars and sent inflation rates soaring, while selling naïve Americans the lie that based on the name alone, it was going to reduce prices on everything.
On top of all of this, the liberal elites and powerful Democrats, including President Biden HIMSELF would often crack jokes or laugh it up about America’s inflation disaster.
