Democrats’ Desperate Hail Mary: Ban Republicans from Holding Office

Running the country into the ground for the past year has not worked out well for the Democrats. More Americans hate the Democrat Party today than ever before. 25 members of Nancy Pelosi’s party have announced their sudden retirement from Congress at the end of this year, rather than suffer through the humiliation of the upcoming November Red Wave.

But that doesn’t mean the Democrats don’t still have one or two last-ditch, desperate moves they can pull. They’ve now decided they’re going to try to ban the most effective and popular Republicans from running for reelection this year. Problem solved!

If they weren’t such terrible people, one could almost feel sorry for the Democrats. Their “Great Replacement” plan to have Americans outnumbered by mass immigration from the Third World is backfiring after this past year. For the first time in history, Hispanic voters are evenly split between Republicans and Democrats. It turns out that traditional, family-oriented Hispanics aren’t all that keen on $5-a-gallon gas and having their preschool aged kids taught about the LGBTQ’s sexual preferences and Xe/Xir pronouns!

That was never supposed to happen. Hispanics were supposed to be loyal lapdogs like the black community and were supposed to vote for the Democrats permanently. But here we are. Republicans, by the way, didn’t do anything to facilitate this. Donald Trump built up a lot of new support from Hispanic voters, but the GOP itself didn’t do anything to earn those votes. The Democrats have simply gotten so crazy that if you are a married adult who lacks mental health issues, they don’t have anything to offer you.

The Democrats have also lost the consent of the governed in this country. 59% of all voters firmly believe that voting fraud determined the outcome of the 2020 election. That includes Republicans, Democrats and Independents, all of whom are looking forward to casting their revenge vote to punish the Democrat Party this November. The Democrats know they are going to get shellacked in the upcoming elections, if they don’t do something fast.

What can they do? Attorney Marc Elias has the answer.

If that name sounds familiar, it’s because he used to be Crooked Hillary’s lawyer. Marc Elias was one of the principal authors who pushed the Russia collusion hoax onto America. Today Elias is one of the top attorneys for the Democrat Party, and he’s come up with a Hail Mary plan to try to save the Democrats in the midterms: Ban the most popular House Republicans from running for reelection.

Elias’ plan is to apply a clause from the 14th Amendment to House Members like Marjorie Taylor Greene, Paul Gosar, Lauren Boebert and Matt Gaetz who questioned the validity of Joe Biden’s “victory” last year on January 6th. The last clause in the 14th Amendment says that anyone who “shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof” is banned from holding any federal office in America.

That clause was intended at the time to prevent Confederate soldiers and officers who had literally taken up arms against the federal government from becoming Members of Congress. But by labeling Republicans who questioned Joe Biden’s obviously stolen victory in 2020 as “insurrectionists,” Elias and the Democrats now hope to permanently ban those people from running for office again. You kind of have to wonder, since those Republicans are such a threat to our democracy, why it took the Democrats a whole year to come up with this cockamamie plan. Shouldn’t those folks have been banned from Congress a year ago?

If this sounds desperate, that’s because it is. Especially since the Department of InJustice has not managed to charge a single one of the 700 peaceful January 6 protesters that they have arrested with “insurrection.” No one brought a gun to the January 6 protest and the only people who were killed in that “act of war” were some unarmed women who were Trump supporters.

The only “crime” that these Republican House members committed on January 6th was that they objected to the certification of Joe Biden’s fake victory. That does not make them insurrectionists, obviously. The only thing they were asking for was a pause in the certification process, so that election audits could be carried out in various states that had questionable results. And as we’ve seen from every audit so far, fraud played a massive role in the outcome of the 2020 election. The good news is that this desperate plan to ban popular Republicans from Congress has no hope of making it past the Supreme Court.
