Following the debate between the four losers Wednesday night in Georgia, a Wall Street Journal poll has found that Nikki Haley is SURGING into second place behind Donald Trump. She’s 50 or 60 points behind Trump, but still… momentum has to start somewhere!

If you had any doubt that Nikki Haley is “Dick Cheney with heels and lipstick,” as Vivek Ramaswamy keeps calling her, she now wants to resurrect Karl Rove’s plan to cut social security. That was the popular plan that lost Republicans control of the House, Senate, and ultimately the White House when George W. Bush was president.

The 2024 GOP primary is turning out to be extremely hilarious, but not for the reasons that any of us expected. If you caught any of the debate on Wednesday night, which President Trump skipped out on, Nikki Haley got savaged.

The bloodthirsty neocon Nikki wants to hurl tens of thousands of Americans into World War III so she can rake in money from their deaths. She wants American troops on the ground in Ukraine tomorrow so they can “stop Putin.” (Never mind the fact that Trump had “stopped Putin” by simply talking to him.)

Vivek Ramaswamy challenged her to name three provinces in eastern Ukraine that she would want to liberate from Russia using American troops. She drew a TOTAL BLANK. That should have been career-ending for her right there. She got savaged over and over in the debate, and nobody even brought up the fact that she cheated on her husband when he was deployed in the military (FACT).

But…

Try to read the Wall Street Journal’s gushing praise of Nikki Haley from the next morning without spilling your coffee:

“Deft yet serious, quick-witted yet substantive, Nikki Haley’s debate performances are feats of political athleticism that few can match. Surrounded by men trying to shout and tear her down, she skewers foes, exhibiting a specifically female form of calm yet gleeful aggression. She floats like a fighter jet and stings like a missile.”

It kind of makes you want to puke on your shoes.

Now that Naughty Nikki has surged into second place (according to one poll), she says she wants to cut social security. It’s like the people running her campaign don’t just want Nikki to lose in the primary—they also want Republicans to take a drubbing in 2024 as a party as well.

Look, social security is fine. In fact, it’s the one federal program that works and doesn’t need to be tampered with.

Social security has a $2.8 trillion surplus. Everything else in the government now has a $33.9 trillion DEFICIT. The federal government can’t afford to buy a new can opener, yet the politicians keep driving inflation by giving out $5,000 pre-loaded debit cards to every illegal alien crossing the border and sending hundreds of billions to Ukraine.

Social security is the one federal program that actually pays for itself. It’s also a stabilizing force in our society, since it provides financial stability to retirees. That’s why shady career politicians like Nikki Haley always want to loot the social security surplus.

The social security surplus is expected to get a little rocky in the next few years, that’s true. But then as baby boomers are dying off, it’s expected to restabilize in about a decade. Social security is not in trouble and it’s not going away anytime soon. President Trump understood this during his first term. He wanted to leave social security alone, or if anything, make some minor tweaks to actually improve it, which he did with so many other government programs.

People like Nikki Haley just want to take the money and run. The next $100 billion that Congress and Joe Biden authorize Ukraine would fund every social security payment in America for 10 months, to put things into perspective.

The good news for social security recipients and all future recipients is that Nikki Haley is not going to be the nominee in 2024 and she’s never going to be president. Neither is anyone else who was on the stage. Sure, Vivek was funny and sharp, but he’s still 50 points behind Trump in every poll.

If anything, you have to wonder if Nikki Haley’s idea to loot social security is part of a plan to let the Democrats say, “See! Republicans want to cut your social security!” to voters in 2024 to try to hamstring Donald Trump.
