If there is any pandemic villain who deserves to be publicly tried, convicted, stripped of his pension and sent to prison for the remainder of his incredibly short (pun intended) life, it’s Dr. Anthony Fauci. Boys and girls as young as 10 and 11 killed themselves due to the social isolation and depression they experienced because of Fauci’s lockdowns. Youth suicide attempts increased by 50% during the lockdowns.

And do you know what else increased during the lockdowns? Anthony Fauci’s net worth. As American families and small businesses were destroyed because of one of the worst political policies of all time – which didn’t save a single life, by the way – Fauci’s net worth shot up by an amazing $5 million during the pandemic.

Anthony Fauci already makes a federal salary that would make a normal person blush with just a little bit of shame. He makes $480,000 per year. The President of the United States makes only $400,000 per year. (Or nothing, if the president is Donald Trump and he donates his entire salary to worthy causes.) The Speaker of the House makes a measly $225,000, and the President pro Tempore of the Senate makes $193,400. But Anthony Fauci makes $480,000 per year, or $40,000 per month. That’s more money in a month than a lot of married couples make – combined – in an entire year in Mississippi.

Anthony Fauci’s salary is obscene. It’s vulgar. Especially when you consider the fact that he’s literally supposed to be a public servant as a government employee. And he’s going to make a pension in excess of $375,000 per year when he retires and tries to hide from a Republican-controlled Congress in the November midterms.

And if that’s not gross enough, Fauci’s wife is a federal bureaucrat/“doctor” who works in the same place as him, and she earns $238,970 a year – more than the vice president or the Speaker of the House.

At the end of 2019, Anthony Fauci’s net worth was $7,523,634, according to financial disclosures recovered by Open the Books. That was the last pre-pandemic fiscal year. Today, Anthony Fauci’s net worth is $12,677,513. While Americans were suffering and growing broke because of Fauci’s lockdown policies, Fauci’s net worth increased by $5.1 million.

Earlier this year, Senator Roger Marshall (R-KS) asked Fauci to willingly reveal his financial disclosures for 2019 and 2020. Fauci responded by calling a sitting United States Senator – who presumably has oversight of Fauci’s work at the National Institutes of Health – “a moron.” Fauci is so arrogant and so powerful within the Swamp, and so sure that he will never face consequences for his actions, that he called a Senator a moron. No wonder Florida Governor Ron DeSantis said that “Someone needs to chuck that little elf across the Potomac.”

So, this is a valid question. Where did Tony Fauci’s fortune come from? And how did it skyrocket in such a fashion during the pandemic, when families struggled to put food on the table and keep their businesses afloat? How did he make $5 million bucks in such a short amount of time?

Answer: We don’t know.

The National Institutes of Health, where Fauci works, has refused to comply with lawful Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests from Open the Books. We do know a couple of bits and pieces of where Fauci’s net worth came from, but not the full picture.

He received $1 million prize from the Dan David Foundation in Israel for “speaking truth to power” in 2020. Which was weird, since he repeatedly lied to the public and President Trump through that whole period. Who exactly was the “power” that Fauci “spoke truth” to? It wasn’t Trump and it wasn’t the American public. Fauci was also paid six figures to edit a medical textbook. But that still doesn’t account for a whole $5.1 million that Fauci earned between 2020 and this year.

Open the Books has filed four federal lawsuits against the NIH to try to get them to release royalty payments that are paid to scientists working there. And by “royalty payments,” they mean payments from Big Pharma companies like Pfizer and Moderna. The answer to Fauci’s wealth is probably in those payments, but we just don’t know yet. Which is disgusting, because Fauci is just a federal employee. Jail time. Seriously, this guy deserves jail time.
