Democrats are living in a world of make-believe inside their own heads right now. They believe things that are demonstrably untrue and no amount of facts will ever change their minds. It looks like this is about to bite one prominent Democrat in the rear end because he simply cannot keep his big fat mouth shut about the false things he believes about Donald Trump.

The president’s legal slapped ABC News host George Stephanopoulos with a defamation suit this week. If anyone deserves to be sued for millions of dollars for lying about Donald Trump, it’s Bill Clinton’s little former attack weasel, Stephanopoulos.

Stephanopoulos’s big fat mouth got him into trouble last Sunday when he had Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) on as a guest on ABC’s “This Week.” During the interview, in which Stephanopoulos repeatedly tried to shame Rep. Mace as a rape victim, little George kept repeatedly stating that multiple juries found President Trump liable for raping the crazy rape lady, E. Jean Carroll. That’s completely false. It’s as far from the truth as the East is from the West. The civil jury in the E. Jean Carroll case found President Trump NOT GUILTY.

Stephanopoulos kept trying to shame Rep. Mace. How could she, Stephanopoulos kept wondering, support a convicted rapist like Donald Trump when she herself was a rape victim?

Trump never raped E. Jean Carroll. There’s no evidence that he raped her. He was never criminally charged with raping her. Carroll never told anyone about the supposed rape until she wrote about it in a book and tried to profit from it. The jury in the civil trial found President Trump innocent.

When ABC News hired George Stephanopoulos as the new host of “This Week” in 2002, it was really the beginning of the end of liberal bias in the media. I worked for ABC News at the time, and there were still a few conservatives like me working there back in those days. We were constantly battling against liberal bias, which had tainted our profession in horrible ways. Liberal reporters simply refused to see it.

But then… the bigwigs at ABC gave George Stephanopoulos the network’s Sunday show. We couldn’t believe it. This was just a few years after Stephanopoulos had been working as Bill Clinton’s attack weasel at the White House. Crooked Witch Hillary told people that it was Stephanopoulos’s job to handle Bill’s “bimbo eruptions.”

His job at the White House was literally to shame, smear, and lie about all the women who came forward to accuse Bill Clinton of sexual harassment and rape. So, shaming Nancy Mace for being a rape victim is pretty much par for the course for George Stephanopoulos. Just ask Paula Jones, Juanita Brodrick, or even Monica Lewinsky.

Before Stephanopoulos, ABC’s Sunday show had been hosted by Sam Donaldson, an old liberal blowhard with a bad hairpiece, and Cokie Roberts, a moderate neocon. There was at least a mild attempt at balanced journalism on the show.

When George Stephanopoulos was hired to replace them, we were baffled and disgusted. He wasn’t even a journalist. He had never had a real job outside of politics, and he was a flaming, hard-left, dishonest, partisan Democrat. We felt that ABC News was throwing all its integrity out the window by giving that job to Stephanopoulos—and it was. Instead of having to contend with liberal bias from inside ABC News, we were now faced with battling full-on propaganda from the Democrat Party and the Deep State.

After the hiring of Stephanopoulos, it opened the floodgates. Any partisan hack from the Democrat Party could get a job in the media after that. Good grief, NBC News hired Chelsea Clinton to sit in the corner and pretend to be a journalist! The hiring of Stephanopoulos was also when the mainstream media began purging conservative journalists in earnest.

Anyway, good for President Trump for suing little George Stephanopoulos and ABC News. They totally deserve it. E. Jean Carroll was awarded $83 million from President Trump because he “defamed” her by vehemently denying that he raped her. Trump ought to get at least that much from Stephanopoulos and ABC News for their false claims that he raped E. Jean Carroll.
