After a slew of recent murders have seen illegal aliens killing innocent Americans in sanctuary cities, even the Democrats are admitting something HAS TO change.

The laws associated with sanctuary cities have made it so that even when an illegal alien is caught committing a crime like murder, they CAN NOT be deported – and are oftentimes released back onto the street to commit other violent crimes.

The uptick in crime as a result of this has been impossible to ignore and Democrats across the country are starting to realize their policies have FAILED the American people.

New York City Democrat Mayor Eric Adams, whose city has been one of the most impacted by its sanctuary status, has admitted that the illegal alien crime is out of control.

Mayor Adams said that it’s time for some changes to the laws surrounding sanctuary cities in order to allow for local law enforcement to coordinate with federal immigration officials to have violent illegal aliens DEPORTED.

“We should not be allowing people who are repeatedly committing crimes to remain here and we cannot collaborate with ICE in the process,” Adams said. “Those who are committing crimes, we need to modify the sanctuary city law. If you commit a felony, a violent act, we should be able to turn you over to ICE and have you deported.”

“It is a right to live in this city, and you should not be committing crimes in our city. Right now, we don’t have the authority to do so,” he added.

New York City recently had a group of violent illegal aliens beat two members of the NYPD and while the illegals were arrested for the crime, they were quickly released thanks to the sanctuary city policies and fled to California, committing more crimes along the way.

Another incident saw one illegal be arrested by NYPD for attacking a minor and driving without a license. He was quickly released and fled the state to Georgia – where he would eventually murder a 22-year-old nursing student.

And there are many more instances like this happening all over America.

New York City was the first in the country to implement “Sanctuary” laws to protect illegal aliens, and now it seems like they’re the first to admit what a colossal mistake that was.

Under Joe Biden more than 7.2 million potentially violent illegals have crossed our border (on record) and that number is greater than the population of 36 U.S. states.

But don’t be fooled by Adams’ calls for changes, he’s not doing this out of his desire to keep his city safe.

Several polls have revealed that the southern border has now become the number one issue for prospective voters heading into the 2024 election and Democrats know that if their migration policies keep leading to the murder of innocent Americans, no voter in their right mind would even consider choosing them over their Republican counterparts in the upcoming election.

Like everything the Democrats do, this is about POWER – nothing more.
