None of the People Pretending to be Worried about COVID are Worried about COVID

I know, I know. It’s hard to care about anything that every happens in Great Britain. We’ve got plenty of our own problems on this side of the pond. But the “Partygate” scandal that is now threatening to end the political career of Prime Minister Boris Johnson could end up serving as a blueprint for us here in the US. Why, for example, do we keep tolerating our own politicians when they blatantly break their own COVID rules? We should be drumming these bums out of office, just as we’re about to see happen to Boris Johnson.

For those haven’t heard this story yet, Boris Johnson threw a big, boozy bash at 10 Downing Street for about 40 of his closest friends on May 20, 2020. That was during the height of the COVID hysteria – “15 days to flatten the curve!”

They reportedly trashed the garden at 10 Downing Street. There were empty booze bottles and panties all over the place. Everyone who attended the party – which was a clear violation of the UK’s strict COVID lockdown policies at the time – was advised to “clean up their phones.” Wouldn’t want to leave any evidence behind that pointed to political leaders having fun. One official at the party kept nervously glancing at the sky and joking about the possibility of a drone capturing video footage of them in their revelry.

As mentioned, the party happened on May 20, 2020. Just a few hours before the party, Cabinet minister Oliver Dowden told the British public during a press conference:

“You can meet one person outside your household in an outdoor public place – provided that you stay two meters apart.”

So, it’s not like the people at Boris’s bash didn’t know that they were breaking their own laws. Oliver Dowden, by the way, got smashed at the party.

Members of Boris Johnson’s own party are now calling for his resignation. Members of opposition parties are calling for him to be jailed. And why shouldn’t he be? How would members of the general public be treated if they were caught on that day breaking the rules so blatantly? We don’t have to ask! We’ve seen the videos. British cops would tackle the perpetrators, beat them senseless, and haul them off to jail. Shouldn’t Boris Johnson and 40 of his closest friends receive the same treatment?

How many times have we seen American public figures carrying out similar outlandish violations of their own “emergency rules?” Probably too many to count.

Governor Hairgel of California was one of the first ones to get caught. Gavin Newsom was photographed scarfing down an $11,000 plate of foie gras at the French Laundry. Gretchen Whitmer forbid people in Michigan from traveling to second homes, then immediately traveled to her second home when Joe Biden was vetting her to be his running mate. The heads of teacher unions have been photographed partying in Costa Rica, even as they lecture American parents that it’s just too risky to have schools open. Dr. Deborah Birx told us all that it was just too dangerous for us to travel for Thanksgiving in 2020 – and then flew off to a free state for a huge Thanksgiving dinner with both sides of her family.

Professional actress and drama queen Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is one of the latest hypocrites to be caught breaking the rules that she supports. She went to the Free State of Florida and partied with her boyfriend and a bunch of celebrity drag queens never once wearing a mask. Then, surprise of surprises, the double vaccinated and boosted Ocasio-Cortez caught COVID. And Dr. Anthony Fauci himself was photographed yakking away at a baseball game with his friends – with no mask on.

These same people allowed your elderly parents and grandparents to drown in their own lung fluid, even though they knew that cheap and effective treatments like hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin could have saved them. And they did it for something as dirty and petty as politics, because they wanted Donald Trump out of office.

Part of me could care less what happens to Boris Johnson because of “Partygate.” That’s because I don’t care about the UK at all. But I hope his career goes down in flames for this. The same goes for all of the COVID doomsayers here in America who destroyed our economy and thumbed their noses at us. Losing their jobs is the least of what these people deserve.
