The Department of Justice’s political hitman Jack Smith seems to be kicking things up a notch, going straight to the Supreme Court in an effort to get them to say that Trump CAN be criminally charged for calling into question the results of the 2020 election and the timing couldn’t be more OBVIOUSLY part of an attempt to cover for the crooked Biden family.

Smith went straight to the US Supreme Court asking them to rule on Donald Trump’s claim that he was immune from prosecution as former president.

Trump’s claim came in the form of an appeal on a ruling by corrupt U.S. District Judge Tanya Chutkan, who rejected his arguments that he was immune from criminal prosecution.

The appeal has the potential to delay a theatrical trial which is set to begin on March 4, but not if Smith can do anything about it, which is why he demanded that the Supreme Court decide quickly but it’s not the only reason.

Smith knew full-well that his antics would lead to major headlines that would help to sweep under the rug negative press about the Biden family, such as the multiple felonies Hunter has just been charged with or the formal Impeachment proceedings set to kick off against Joe Biden.

“The United States recognizes that this is an extraordinary request. This is an extraordinary case,” Smith’s team wrote, “this case presents a fundamental question at the heart of our democracy: whether a former President is absolutely immune from federal prosecution for crimes committed while in office.”

And of course, there goes the vile left again claiming that this is about “preserving the American Democracy” when really all they care about is preserving their stranglehold on power and ensuring that Trump never sees the Oval Office again.

“A cornerstone of our constitutional order is that no person is above the law,” Smith’s office continued. “The force of that principle is at its zenith where, as here, a grand jury has accused a former President of committing federal crimes to subvert the peaceful transfer of power to his lawfully elected successor. Nothing could be more vital to our democracy than that a President who abuses the electoral system to remain in office is held accountable for criminal conduct.”

A Trump spokesperson slammed Smith as being blatantly “deranged” and trying to interfere in the 2024 election through this politically motivated witch-hunt 2020 trial.

“Crooked Joe Biden’s henchman, Deranged Jack Smith is so obsessed with interfering in the 2024 Presidential Election with the goal of preventing President Trump from retaking the Oval Office, as the President is poised to do, that Smith is willing to try for a Hail Mary by racing to the Supreme Court and attempting to bypass the appellate process,” the Trump team statement said.

It’s pretty clear that these corrupt bastards on the left are throwing EVERYTHING they’ve got at Trump but as we’ve seen very clear thus far, it’s only making the American people want to support him even MORE!
