President Trump is Complaining About Pam Bondi Behind Closed Doors

White House aides say President Donald Trump is growing increasingly frustrated with the weakness and ineffectiveness of Attorney General Pam Bondi. Other than perhaps his bikini-clad Labor Secretary, no other Trump cabinet pick has been so lackluster in their performance. After watching the Department of Justice and its enforcement arm (the FBI) act with speed and viciousness for four years when arresting Trump supporters for their political beliefs, the DOJ under Bondi is moving at a snail’s pace.

Trump is now talking with White House allies about appointing a series of special counsels at DOJ. One of his main grievances, which is clearly justified, is Bondi’s failure to prosecute former FBI stooge James Comey and New York Attorney General Letitia James.

Comey committed treason against the United States during Trump’s first term. He tried to undermine the lawful outcome of the 2016 election by helping Hillary Clinton fabricate the Russia hoax.

Letitia James prosecuted Trump for engaging in traditional real estate practices after he took out loans and paid them back with interest. She abused her power, tried to destroy the entire Trump Organization, and attempted to forcibly seize all the New York properties owned by the Trump family. She also committed brazen mortgage fraud in New York and Virginia.

Pam Bondi dropped the ball on both cases.

Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard announced back in August that she had uncovered “burn bags” with proof on how the Democrats stole the 2020 election. Trump is reportedly furious that Bondi has done nothing in regard to that crime. Is it even being investigated?

As you may have heard, Minnesota has a bit of a Somali fraud problem that’s recently been in the news. Nick Shirley’s videos exposing the complex web of fraudulent daycares and home healthcare services in Minneapolis went viral in December. The outrage over the Somali fraud was universal among President Trump’s base.

Two days after Shirley’s video was initially viewed by 138 million people on X, Attorney General Pam Bondi rushed to the news cameras. She announced that the DOJ was on top of it, and they were aggressively pursuing these Somali fraudsters. In fact, she bragged that the DOJ had already prosecuted and secured 90 guilty pleas and convictions in the Feeding Our Futures case.

Except… she didn’t have anything to do with it.

Feeding Our Future was the Tim Walz-adjacent non-profit that a large group of Somalis set up in Minneapolis during the pandemic. It was supposedly providing meals to low-income kids in Minneapolis. Feeding Our Future raked in $250 million in federal funds, while never actually serving any meals.

The Department of Justice indicted the Somali scammers in 2022, under Attorney General Merrick Garland. The trial, guilty pleas, and convictions wrapped up in March of 2025, just three weeks after Pam Bondi was sworn in.

She had absolutely nothing to do with the case but rushed to the cameras to take credit for it last month after Nick Shirley’s video went viral. President Trump doesn’t have an Attorney General right now. He has a social media influencer running the DOJ. This is like having Bill Barr back in the Attorney General position again.

Have you recognized the pattern? When a Democrat is in the White House, the president directs his AG to viciously target his Republican opponents. The DOJ immediately dispatches FBI agents to the homes of everyday Americans. They’ll kick your front door in, flash-bang you in your living room, and terrify your children and pets. They’ll figure out a crime later.

When Trump is in office, his AGs talk about “the process.” It “takes time” to meticulously and methodically build a case, because they don’t want to “get it wrong.”

Before you know it, years have passed and the supposedly “Republican” Attorney General hasn’t done anything. If Trump doesn’t replace Pam Bondi, she’ll be taking a $2 million advance in 2028 to write a tell-all book about how she stood up to the president and upheld the vaunted “rule of law” that only ever seems to persecute Republicans.

On February 4, Pam Bondi will have been in office for one full year. What has she done with her time as Attorney General? Can anyone point to an accomplishment? No wonder President Trump is getting fed up with her.
