The attorney for Brett Kavanaugh accuser Christine Blasey Ford has let the cat out of the bag. Debra Katz, one of the lawyers who represented Blasey Ford, admitted at a conference of blue-haired feminists that both she and Blasey Ford were motivated by politics to launch their fake smear against Judge Kavanaugh.

This isn’t a surprise to anyone, of course. Everyone knew it was a lie. It is strange that her lawyer felt perfectly comfortable in violating attorney-client privilege by admitting that Blasey Ford’s claims against Kavanaugh were a lie.

I love the way that Democrats still shoot their mouths off everywhere as if it’s still the 1990s. They just don’t seem to have figured out that virtually every adult they encounter is carrying a high-resolution video camera and microphone around with them, in the form of a smartphone. (Shhhh! Don’t tell them!)

If you’re running for president and you have a seizure, or you represent a high-profile client and then violate attorney-client privilege while giving a public speech, it’s almost a guarantee that someone is aiming their phone at you and capturing the moment.

That’s what happened to attorney Debra Katz at the Feminist Legal Theory Conference in Baltimore. Here’s what she told the audience, which someone thankfully recorded for posterity on their phone:

“In the aftermath of these hearings, I believe that Christine’s testimony brought about more good than the harm misogynist Republicans caused by allowing Kavanaugh on the court. He will always have an asterisk next to his name. When he takes a scalpel to Roe v. Wade, we will know who he is, we know his character, and we know what motivates him, and that is important. It is important that we know, and that is part of what motivated Christine.”

I couldn’t agree more! It is important that we know that Christine Blasey Ford lied to the Senate Judiciary Committee and smeared Brett Kavanaugh “for the greater good” of preserving Roe v. Wade. It is important that we know that Christine Blasey Ford did very real harm to actual survivors of sexual assault by cravenly lying about an innocent man.

You really must give credit where credit is due to Blasey Ford. Would you have the guts to go in front of a Senate committee, lie your rear-end off and viciously smear an innocent person like that?

I know I wouldn’t! I’d be too worried that my lawyer would blab about it at a conference and let the entire world know what a lying, underhanded schmuck I was. Plus, there’s that whole part about going to hell for eternity for lying. Christine Blasey Ford really is a Profile In Courage!

This is also a good reminder of the incredible lengths that the Democrats will go to if Ruth Bader Ginsburg should not wake up one of these mornings and Donald Trump picks her replacement.

Unlike the Democrats, I haven’t heard a single person on the right openly saying they wish that Ginsburg would up and croak. Can you imagine if she was a conservative, though? Soy boys would be picketing her house every night and waving signs saying, “Why won’t you DIE already?!”

Ginsburg has just survived her third bout with cancer this summer, at the age of 86. Cancer thought that the third time would be the charm, but Ginsburg kicked cancer to the curb once again. While conservatives disagree with her horrible politics, most of us admire her for being such a tough old bird. But it also leaves a lot of us wondering why she doesn’t retire so she can spend her last few years puttering around with her grandkids.

The reason why she doesn’t retire, of course, is politics. She doesn’t like President Trump and has taken the unprecedented step as a supposedly “impartial” judge to make it publicly known that she doesn’t like him. Virtue signaling isn’t just for the young, apparently. Ginsburg has indicated that she doesn’t plan to leave the Supreme Court if Donald Trump is going to be the one to choose her replacement.

That’s her prerogative under the Constitution, but if that’s how she feels about it, then we should have no qualms about replacing her in an election year if that should come about. Democrats are now insisting that if Ginsburg dies, Trump cannot replace her until after the 2020 election due to recent precedent (Merrick Garland). Well… that’s too bad.

If Ginsburg thinks it’s perfectly okay to stay on the court for political reasons until she’s carried out boots-first, then Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) shouldn’t have any qualms about confirming her replacement during an election year for political reasons.

If she was so worried about being replaced by someone suitably progressive, she had an eight-year chance to retire between 2009 and 2016.

The admission by Blasey Ford’s attorney that the Kavanaugh smear was completely partisan is also great ammunition for us when Ginsburg does eventually shuffle off her mortal coil. If you think the Kavanaugh hearings were completely insane, wait until Ginsburg’s replacement time comes.

The left will start by insisting that because Ginsburg is a member of The Diversity™, she can only be replaced by someone even more representative of diversity, such as a one-eyed, one-legged, impoverished billionaire who is half-Chinese, half-Eskimo and half-black, who was born during a lunar eclipse and is a transgender lesbian. Otherwise it will be an attack on women and will be “unconstitutional.”

When we do finally learn who Trump chooses to replace Ginsburg, there will be a trainload of crazies that comes out of the woodwork to accuse that person of all manner of crimes against humanity, including cannibalism and disbelief in global warming. But we’ll know it’s all lies, thanks to the Democrats’ “Christine Blasey Ford standard.”

Speaking of which, Blasey Ford deserves to be charged with perjury now that her attorney has admitted to the lie. The Senate should send a criminal referral to the DOJ and the DOJ should investigate and prosecute her for viciously smearing Brett Kavanaugh the way she did.

And while they’re at it, Blasey Ford’s attorney should be disbarred. After everything Kavanaugh endured during his confirmation hearings last year, he deserves a little justice at the end of the day.
