Democrat Rep. Jasmine Crockett just said out loud what no one with a functioning brain would believe: that the people who tried to assassinate President Donald Trump were actually his own supporters.

Yes, really.

Crockett made the claim during a podcast hosted by Hasan Minhaj, where she confidently declared, “The violence doesn’t come from Democrats just to be clear.” Then, with a smug smile, she dove headfirst into her fantasy world: “It is MAGA. It’s specifically the MAGA faction.”

She even dragged the failed Trump assassination attempts into her delusion, saying, “Even when we look at… the assassination attempts… these were Trump supporters, right?”

Wrong.

Thomas Matthew Crooks—the would-be assassin who shot Trump in the head last July—was a registered Democrat who had donated through ActBlue, the Democratic Party’s favorite fundraising platform. There is zero evidence that he was a Trump supporter. Not even a shred.

The second would-be assassin, Ryan Wesley Routh, isn’t exactly waving a red MAGA hat either. He was an “unemployed carpenter” who somehow managed to frequently travel to Ukraine and Washington, D.C., and ran a website that recruited foreign fighters for the war effort overseas. Sounds more like a shady intelligence asset than someone organizing rallies in support of Trump.

But Crockett wasn’t finished embarrassing herself. She went on to suggest that even recent anti-ICE riots were MAGA-led, despite the fact that Democrat Rep. LaMonica McIver was literally caught on camera physically assaulting federal agents outside an ICE detention center—an incident conveniently ignored by the same media that screams “insurrection” anytime a conservative breathes near a government building.

And it’s not just McIver. ICE agents have been ambushed and shot at multiple times by so-called “peaceful” Democrats or their radical supporters. But Crockett wants you to believe that Democrats don’t commit political violence. Ever.

That’s not just dishonest. It’s deranged.

Crockett’s gaslighting is an attempt to rewrite history in real time, spinning a new narrative where Democrats are innocent victims and every act of political violence somehow comes from the Right—even the ones aimed at the Right.

It’s part of a bigger pattern: when Democrats commit violence, it gets buried. When a lone nutcase makes a scene in a red hat, the media turns it into Pearl Harbor. And now, they’re blaming Trump supporters for trying to assassinate Trump himself?

This is where we are.

It’s not just offensive—it’s dangerous. Because when politicians like Crockett casually rewrite reality, they erode what little trust the American people have left in our institutions.

And the worst part? She’s laughing while she does it.

Crockett isn’t interested in facts. She’s interested in protecting the narrative—no matter how absurd it gets. Because if the public ever stops and looks at the actual evidence, they’ll see that the real threat to democracy isn’t coming from Trump voters waving flags… it’s coming from the people who keep trying to silence them.

So let’s ask the question:

If Democrats are willing to lie this blatantly about something this provable… what else are they lying about?
