When Nick Sandmann Becomes President, Here’s Hoping He’s as Awesome as Trump

Young Nick Sandmann, a recent graduate of Covington Catholic High School, has kind of a tough road ahead of him. He never asked to become a public figure. The garbage people in the media made him a public figure when they falsely smeared him as a dangerous smirking racist. We should have a lot of sympathy for him, because what happened to him could have happened to any of our kids. On the other hand, Nick now has somewhere between $75 and $100 million bucks that used to belong to the media in his pocket, so that’s pretty funny. But even teaching the mainstream media (specifically The Washington Post and CNN) that painful financial lesson hasn’t been enough to stop the world’s elites from targeting him.

Nick was accepted into Transylvania University this fall. That’s a private college in Kentucky. My guess is that he didn’t apply to very many public universities, which would have been a waste of time. There’s no way a Yale, Harvard or even Boise State would have accepted him, since he is now one of the top ten or maybe even top five most hated conservative figures in the country.

But even going to a private college – which he can definitely afford with CNN’s money (ha!) – Nick Sandmann is once again facing vicious attacks.

It wasn’t public knowledge a few days ago that Nick would be attending Transylvania University. An ACLU staffer who once attended Transylvania University somehow found out about it and “raised the alarm.”

Oh no! An American kid that I hate has been accepted into a college!

The ACLU staffer’s name is Samuel Crankshaw. He jumped on Facebook and proclaimed that Nick Sandmann is “more dangerous” than even conservative figures like Milo Yiannopoulos. I’d beg to differ; hasn’t Crankshaw ever seen Milo in purple eyeshadow?

Crankshaw also calls Nick Sandmann a “provocateur in training with no intention of learning.” There’s that vaunted liberal ability to read conservatives’ minds again! It saves liberals the trouble of ever having to debate anyone. They already know Nick Sandmann has “no intention of learning.” Yeah, he’s just paying out-of-pocket to go to a private college as a political stunt. Granted, he’s paying for it with the Washington Post’s money (ha!).

Crankshaw continues, “Having experienced the incredibly high standards Transy requires for admission and then holds its students to, this seems like a slap in the face. I hope some time in a real classroom changes him [Sandmann], but his twitter and public persona suggest otherwise.”

How arrogant! And how far has the ACLU fallen when it hires such an intellectually repugnant person as this Crankshaw fellow? I’m so old that I can remember when the ACLU used to defend freedom of speech.

He considers it a slap in the face that Nick Sandmann is attending his former college. He hopes that time in a “real classroom” will reeducate Nick Sandmann. As if Covington Catholic High School didn’t provide Nick a better education than any public school in America could have.

Crankshaw’s attack on Sandmann also illustrates that coastal liberal arrogance that we all recognize so well. Anyone with conservative views is a backwoods hillbilly who doesn’t have an education. Let’s get Nick Sandmann into a “real classroom” at a university, so we can beat some woke politics into him. Maybe he could redeem himself then. Just maybe.

But the attacks on Sandmann have escalated from there. It gets worse.

Someone named Dr. Avery Tompkins, who is a “Diversity Scholar” (whatever the hell that is) at Transylvania University, responded to Crankshaw. The professor at the school where Nick Sandmann is about to matriculate assured the ACLU employee that he was going to keep an eye on Nick.

Tompkins wrote:

“If he were to cause problems by being disruptive, trolling, or engaging in unethical behavior of any kind, I would immediately document it… and he would just be putting himself in a position for me to file a conduct report.”

That’s so precious. Nick Sandmann is so “dangerous” that a next-to-worthless campus “diversity” professor will be watching his every move. Dean Wormer is putting the Delta Fraternity on DOUBLE SECRET PROBATION!

To the credit of Transylvania University, they swatted down the diversity professor’s threats and forced him to issue an apology to Nick Sandmann. One thing that’s clear after Nick’s speech at the Republican National Convention a couple of weeks ago is that he’s not going to back down and he’s going to fight these liberal jerks who continue to try to destroy his life and harass him. This kid’s going to be president someday, isn’t he?
