Uh Oh: FBI Agent in Charge of Mar-a-Lago Raid Just Escorted Out of the Building

Was the Mar-a-Lago raid by the FBI two weeks ago so nakedly partisan that it even caught corrupt Attorney General Merrick Garland and corrupt FBI Director Christopher Wray off guard? It’s starting to the look that way. Garland and Wray have both been backpedaling ever since the unprecedented raid on President Donald Trump’s home over some possibly misplaced paperwork. And now there’s word that the FBI Special Agent in Charge of the raid was escorted out of FBI headquarters by some heavies last Friday.

Garland finally released the affidavit last week and somewhere between half and two-thirds of the document is redacted. There’s a lot missing in those blacked-out pages. Civil rights attorney Harmeet Dillon, who has been bringing a ton of civil rights suits against the Biden regime for the past two years, says there doesn’t appear to be anything in the redacted parts of the document that rise to the level of “protecting national security.” In other words, it’s heavily redacted because the Biden regime doesn’t want us to see it and not because there’s anything sensitive in it.

Not to keep beating a dead horse, but there are three main things that everyone needs to keep in mind, to understand just how partisan the raid was.

First, the Presidential Records Act is a civil statute. It is not a criminal statute and as such, there can be NO criminal enforcement of the act. Even if a former president were to break the Presidential Records Act, it is not a crime. Worst-case scenario would be that the National Archives and the former president could sort it out in court, with no fines, fees or jail time involved.

Second, there are a ton of different types of records that do not even rise to the level of “presidential records.” This includes “official records of an agency,” “personal records,” and convenience copies of any records a former president takes with him when he leaves office.

And third, in the entire history of the United States and certainly since the passage of the Presidential Records Act in 1978, courts have absolutely refused to step in an differentiate between what any president says is a “personal record” versus a “presidential record.” Courts don’t care at all, because presidents have broad authority to declassify or destroy any record in their possession anyway, so what difference could it possibly make?

Bill Clinton’s “sock drawer tapes” were protected by a federal judge in a 2012 case – one of the most recent decisions about the Presidential Records Act. When Barack Obama left office in 2017, he took 3 MILLION pages of documents with him. He promised that all of those “presidential records” would be digitized and published online in short order. He’s never put a single one of those 3 million pages on the internet, however. Not one has been digitized and preserved. And nobody has raided his home. Does anyone doubt that the guy who organized Operation Fast & Furious to arm a Mexican drug cartel, and who personally killed more than 200 children in drone strikes during his time in office, was no having a shredding party with those 3 million pages?

At any rate, 14 FBI whistleblowers have come forward to provide testimony and evidence to Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) and Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA). They allege that the raid on Mar-a-Lago and in fact this entire whoop-te-do really is as partisan and illegal as it appears. It looks like Merrick Garland and Christopher Wray have both been caught flat-footed.

President Trump’s fundraising has shot through the roof since the raid happened. And his popularity has climbed even higher in every poll. He’s looking better positioned for a run in 2024 than at any point previously, because now the FBI has made a martyr of him. Looks like Garland and Wray are going to have to clean house!

Multiple eyewitnesses inside FBI Headquarters have confirmed to the Washington Times that on Friday, Special Agent in Charge Tim Thibault was escorted out of the building. He is – or was – the head of the Washington Field Office that oversaw the raid on Mar-a-Lago. Did Thibault lie to Garland and Wray about the partisan nature of the “evidence” against Donald Trump, and now they’ve had to remove him to clean up their mess? Stay tuned…
