Stop me if you’ve heard this one before: A man walks into a room and says he’s a woman. The room, instead of calling for a psychiatrist, gives him a round of applause, a hormone prescription, and the keys to the ladies’ locker room. Welcome to Minnesota in 2025, where reality is on life support and truth got mugged in a back alley by political correctness wearing a rainbow flag as a cape.
We’re talking about Robin Westman, born Robert, who recently committed a mass shooting that’s now being treated by the media with all the curiosity of a vegan at a Texas BBQ. Why? Because Westman identified as transgender, and in today’s progressive pecking order, that apparently makes you more of a victim than the people you actually victimize. The left can’t say his name without tripping over their DNC-approved pronoun guide, and they definitely can’t say the real culprit here: lies.
Jason Whitlock hit the nail on the head this week, pointing out that the real danger isn’t guns, it’s the culture of deceit the left has been shoveling into our institutions like manure on a hot July day. We’re told up is down, men are women, criminals are victims, and somehow, if we all clap hard enough, the delusion becomes reality. But unlike Peter Pan, this isn’t a fairy tale. It’s a national nightmare.
Westman’s tragic rampage didn’t happen in a vacuum. It happened in a state where truth has been replaced by identity politics, where the mayor is Jacob Frey, a walking, talking virtue signal, and the congressional delegation includes Ilhan Omar, whose greatest political asset is her ability to say “America is racist” in five different languages. Minnesota isn’t just blue, it’s a left-wing experiment gone full Frankenstein, and the results are as disastrous as you’d expect.
These are the wages of lies. You can’t build a society on make-believe and expect it to function. We’ve spent years pretending that feelings matter more than facts, that biology is optional, and that every delusion deserves respect. And now we’re reaping the whirlwind: broken families, skyrocketing mental illness, and yes, unstable individuals like Westman who fall through the cracks because we’re too afraid to call a man a man.
Let’s be clear. This isn’t about hate. This is about the truth, something the left treats like garlic to a vampire. If you dare to say that a man can’t become a woman by changing his wardrobe and Instagram bio, you’re labeled a bigot and canceled faster than a CNN+ subscription. Meanwhile, people who need serious help are handed affirmation instead of accountability, and the rest of us are told to shut up and clap.
Whitlock is right: Lies are more dangerous than guns. A gun in the hands of a sane, law-abiding citizen is a tool for protection. A lie in the hands of a radical ideologue is a weapon of mass destruction. The left’s obsession with protecting feelings over facts isn’t just annoying, it’s deadly.
And let’s not pretend this is isolated. How many more times do we have to see these stories before the media stops dancing around the obvious? Whether it’s the Nashville shooter, or now Westman, the trend is clear: unstable individuals, steeped in the lies of gender ideology, acting out in horrific ways. But you won’t hear that on MSNBC. They’re too busy blaming the NRA and Tucker Carlson’s Twitter feed.
Here’s the uncomfortable truth: if America wants to heal, we’ve got to start telling the truth again. Not the CNN version, not the university version, and definitely not the drag queen story hour version. The real truth. The kind that’s anchored in biology, backed by common sense, and unapologetically rooted in Judeo-Christian values.
Until then, brace yourself. Because if we keep feeding the fire of delusion, we shouldn’t be surprised when the country burns.
