No, his platform is a $65 million plan to turn NYC into a sanctuary for “gender-affirming care” for both adults and children. That’s right, while rats are running the subways and small businesses are fleeing for Florida, Mamdani wants to pour taxpayer money into puberty blockers and pronoun clinics.

And this isn’t some fringe fever dream. According to polls, Mamdani is the front-runner. Let that sink in. The leading candidate to run America’s largest city is campaigning on a platform of tax hikes, sanctuary status, hormone injections, and legal warfare against hospitals that don’t toe his transgender line. If that doesn’t sound like a dystopian sequel to “Escape from New York,” I don’t know what does.

Mamdani’s plan includes $57 million handed over to hospitals and clinics to offer these services to anyone who wants them—kids included. Another $30 million would go to LGBTQIA+ housing programs, $20 million to mental health services, and $10 million to transgender advocacy groups. And if any hospital dares to say, “Hey, maybe this isn’t appropriate for a 12-year-old,” Mamdani wants to drag them into court. To pay for all this, Mamdani wants to jack up taxes on corporations and high-income earners, slap an 11.5% tax on profits, and hire a small army of tax collectors to shake down New Yorkers for every last dime.
