You see, during this one particular game a few years back, my team was winning by eight points with just two minutes left to play.

confident we would win… so long as we didn’t
make any major screw-ups, and just held onto the
ball.
Well, through a
crazy turn of events…
The opposing
team happened to get the ball… went on a wild
shooting spree… drew several fouls from my
players, made all their foul shots, and ended up
beating my team by four points.
It was a
terrible disappointment.
The positive momentum had shifted to the
opposing team, and the edge we
thought
we had was completely gone.
Momentum in the stock market works the exact
same way.
One week your
investments are looking pretty good…
The next week,
through some crazy turn of events that you have
absolutely no control over – all of your gains
