Tennessee Bill Wants to Send Illegal Immigrants to Biden’s Hometown

A Tennessee bill filed on Wednesday proposes to send illegal immigrants to President Joe Biden’s hometown, along with the hometowns of other leading Democrats involved in the border crisis.

State Rep. Bruce Griffey introduced the bill to draw attention to the need for increased border security.

“The Biden administration is quietly moving thousands of illegals to various states, including Tennessee, by putting them on planes and buses and transporting them in the middle of the night, and we should return them to their sender,” Griffey said in a statement, according to the Washington Examiner.

“I imagine that if we relocated them to the backyards of those responsible for allowing the flood of illegal immigration across our border, then those with federal power might be more apt to secure the border and secure it quickly,” he added.

The idea for the bill came from Florida Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis. The governor recently mentioned he would send illegal immigrants sent to Florida to Biden’s hometown and see how he would like it.

“If Tennessee bands together with Gov. DeSantis and Florida, and other states follow suit, we might actually be able to effect change,” Griffey said.

“Tennessee should not be a repository for people coming from all over the world illegally through the southern border and landing in our state,” Griffey added. “We must focus on Tennessee citizens first, what’s best for them, instead of facilitating Biden’s reckless policies.”

Despite the pleasure the idea might bring to some Americans fed up with Biden’s border crisis, the proposed bill is unlikely to pass. Even if it did, it would face numerous legal hurdles that would block its path.

The idea, however, does draw attention to the way the Biden administration has treated the border crisis. Illegal immigrants have been dumped in cities and towns across the country, leading to increased problems in many states, while Biden and other Democrat leaders remain out of the impact.

This week, Fox News reporter Bill Melugin showed that hundreds of illegal immigrants in Texas were released and boarded buses to location nationwide. In Brownsville, he noted “once again witnessed repeated mass releases of single adult male illegal immigrants by ICE. We’ve now seen hundreds of men released from fed custody here in the last 24 hours.”

The report follows a growing number of reports across the nation of illegal immigrants either bused or flown into other states during the night. In 2021, locations in national reports including Tennessee, New York and Florida receiving airplanes of illegal immigrants.

But imagine if the same illegal immigrants were flown or bused to Delaware? Do you think Biden and fellow Democrats might act differently? Of course they would. It’s rules for thee, not for me with a growing number of leftist leaders who treat the national security of our nation like it’s a political topic that only matters based on who will fund their reelection campaign.

Instead, it’s a critical area that could easily remove Democrats from power – but only if conservative rise up to vote and support those who care about the security of America.
