A group of Pakistani Islamic terrorists killed 26 tourists this week in the Baisaran area of Jammu and Kashmir. The attack has infuriated the Indian government and now one of the biggest cross-border purges that we’ve seen in modern history is underway.
India has announced that it’s shutting off the water system of six rivers that flow into Pakistan, which Pakistan says it will consider an act of war. Oh, and the two countries that have hated each other with a seething, cross-racial passion for centuries both have nuclear weapons.
The Islamic terrorists entered the Baisaran area on Tuesday asking tourists their names to determine whether they were Muslim or not. They killed 26 people and wounded 17 others. One of the people killed was an Indian Navy officer who was on his honeymoon. The jihadis used automatic rifles and shot the tourists at close range.
Showing the usual restraint that the police are known for in that region, the Indian government has arrested approximately 1,500 Pakistanis as suspects. Police sketches of three of the suspects have been released.
The part of this crisis that should be fascinating to America is how the two neighboring countries are handling mass immigration and border security. We’re constantly being told here in the United States and all of Europe that returning nations to their pre-immigration demographics is “impossible.” It would be inhumane and rude and we’d have to separate families and yadda-yadda-yadda.
Meanwhile, every nation between Israel and Nepal regularly engages in ethnic cleansing of much larger proportions that they carry out in an extremely short time.
President Trump has said he wants to carry out the largest deportation effort in history. He’s going to have to do some major catching up after this incident between India and Pakistan (which might actually lead to a nuclear war).
Check this out:
India has given every Pakistani national 48 hours to leave the country. They’re not just talking about the Pakistani illegal aliens. All Pakistanis have until April 27th to get out. Two days. Pick up your stuff and get out. The only exceptions are Pakistanis who are in India on medical visas. They have until April 29th to get out.
This is not a small number of people. There are at least 1 million Pakistanis living in India legally with visas. They all have to leave now. Most of them were granted visas to live in India because they were non-Muslim Pakistanis. All of Pakistan’s defense, military, naval, and air advisers in New Delhi have been declared persona non grata and ordered to leave immediately.
India has also sent troops to seal off its border with Pakistan, until the Pakistani government “credibly and irrevocably” stops its support for cross-border terrorism in India.
For reference, India’s border with Pakistan is 111 miles longer than the US-Mexico border—and they shut it down completely in 24 hours.
Pakistan has retaliated by giving all Indians living in Pakistan 48 hours to leave. Pakistan has shut down its airspace to all Indian and Indian-operated airlines. All military attachés from India have been kicked out and so have most of the diplomats. Pakistan has also warned that if India does anything to alter the flow of water from the six rivers covered in the Indus Waters Treaty of 1960, it will be seen as an act of war and will be met with military force.
So, two countries with nuclear weapons are on the brink of war. This is a symptom of four years of recklessly stupid foreign policy by the Biden regime. Joe Biden’s “experts” spent four years alienating America’s allies and emboldening our enemies. He did everything he could to drive India into the arms of Red China. This is yet another mess that he left behind for President Trump, although it’s unclear as yet whether Trump will intervene or if he’ll let the two countries just fight it out.
You’ve probably noticed the remarkable similarities to our situation here in America. We could seal off our borders completely at a moment’s notice if we wanted to. We could send out a warning that all illegal aliens are ordered to leave immediately or face consequences. Nations don’t lack the ability to police their borders or kick foreigners out. We just lack the will to do it.
