Marjorie Taylor Greene Hurts Everyone’s Delicate Feelings Again

Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Green (R-GA) is being lied about by the media and everyone in Congress – again. Stop me if you’ve heard this one before!

In the latest faux outrage against the Trumpiest of elected Republicans, Greene is accused of making “appalling” comments about the holocaust. Every media report on what Greene said on some podcast insists that she said something really, really horrible – too horrible to reprint – and then a flood of quotes from people denouncing her from whatever she said. Why can’t we see the quote? You know, the words she actually said? You know the answer.

For the record, here are the “appalling” words that Green said in response to Nancy Pelosi’s continuing imposition of coronavirus rules in the House of Representatives (despite the fact that everyone in the building is vaccinated):

“We can look back in a time in history where people were told to wear a gold star and they were definitely treated like second-class citizens, so much so that they were put in trains and taken to gas chambers in Nazi Germany. And this is exactly the type of abuse that Nancy Pelosi is talking about.”

Gasp! Well, I never!

Those words are so gosh-darn appalling that even House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) had to put on his fanciest pair of sissy pants to denounce a freshman member of his own party. How dare a member of one political party in Washington compare a member of another political party to the Nazis! I’m pretty sure that’s never been done before!

Oh, wait. Before anyone decides to jump on board the Let’s All Lie About What Marjorie Taylor Greene Said Train again, here are a few quotes from a single weekend in March of 2016 about a certain someone:

Vanity Fair reported that Donald Trump “kept a volume of Hitler’s speeches by his bedside.” Bill Maher remarked on his show, “I think this tells us a lot about where Donald Trump is getting his ideas.”

“Comedian” Louis CK told his fans in a newsletter, “The guy is Hitler.”

A headline from an article on the Huffington Post read, “This Donald Trump Rally Looks Like a Scene from Nazi Germany.”

Saturday Night Live ran two anti-Trump skits on its program. A Trump character compared himself to Hitler in one of them. In the other, it featured a “Racists for Trump” rally in which Trump supporters were wearing Nazi armbands.

Here’s what Glenn Beck said while appearing on ABC’s ‘This Week’:

“You know, Adolf Hitler — we all look at Adolf Hitler in 1940. We should look at him in 1929. He was the kind of funny, character that said the things that people were thinking. Where Donald Trump takes it, I have absolutely no idea.”

Those were all the instances that the entertainment/media/Democrat complex referred to Donald Trump and his supporters as Hitler and the Nazis in a single weekend in March of 2016 – months before Trump would even become the Republican nominee. Has there been a single day since June of 2015 – when Trump first announced his candidacy – when the Democrats have not called Trump Hitler, and his supporters Nazis? Of course not.

But now we’re all supposed to denounce Marjorie Taylor Greene for turning the left’s own tactics against them?

Nah. Hard pass. No thanks.

As usual, the only thing appalling about any of this is the way that the entire mainstream media, the entire Democrat Party and many members of her own party will lie about Marjorie Taylor Greene through their teeth in lockstep. Remember the “Jewish space lasers” lie about Greene? That was a total lie (obviously) and not even vaguely close to what she said about the California wildfires in 2018. In that instance, she was asking questions about a bunch of California elected officials who owned the forested lands that were inconveniently in the way of California’s doomed light-rail project. She was pointing out Democrat political corruption, and it was morphed into Jewish space lasers.

Funny how you never see that quote printed anywhere either, isn’t it?

Would it be nice if everyone in Washington would just shut up about Adolph Hitler and the Nazis? Sure. Of course it would. But you’re the ones who made these rules, Democrats. Marjorie Taylor Greene is just making sure that you play by your own rules.
