There have been some significant developments in the “Greater Idaho Movement” in recent weeks. The Idaho legislature says it’s time to open talks with the Oregon legislature, because all of Eastern Oregon’s counties want to secede from the lunatics in Portland who out-vote them in every election.
This is an important development, because breakups like this need to happen if we are to have any hope of surviving as a country. The divide between Democrats and normal, mentally healthy people is simply too wide to ever be overcome or to compromise with. It’s time for a divorce.
Full disclosure: I grew up in Eastern Oregon. It’s every bit as rural and conservative as Idaho. The people are virtually indistinguishable in terms of their views on faith, family, freedom, agriculture, energy production, child-rearing, and whether or not the weather is going to kill us all. But the people who live in Eastern Oregon are overruled in every single election by the mass of Democrat population on the western side of the state, primarily Portland.
Eastern Oregonians are regular people. Democrats in Portland are like a bunch of space aliens by comparison.
They’ve legalized ALL hard drugs including crack, fentanyl and heroine. No one in Eastern Oregon thinks that’s a good idea.
The leftists in Portland think it’s okay to take a young girl away from her parents, chop off her breasts, and then carve some flesh from her forearm to fashion her a new “penis” and tell her she’s a boy. They likewise want to castrate young boys and tell them they are now girls who menstruate and can get pregnant. Eastern Oregonians aren’t cool with that.
The leftists in Portland don’t want Eastern Oregonians to have cheap and reliable, renewable “green” energy in the form of hydroelectric dams. They want to knock every dam on the Columbia River and the Snake River down, because a fish might get hurt. And they don’t want to build nuclear power plants to replace the cheap and reliable electricity from the dams.
Meanwhile, lying beneath the volcanic high desert plains in Central and Eastern Oregon are some of the largest recoverable oilfields in the country. Oregon only trails the Dakotas, Texas, Alaska and California in terms of how much oil it has. Guess how many oil wells the weather cultists in Portland have built since forever? Yeah. Zero.
Eastern Oregonians are tired of having leftists in Portland who eat kale – which might not even be a real food – telling them how to run their farms and ranches. Farms and ranches are being regulated and taxed out of existence by leftists who wouldn’t know what to do with a cow if it showed up on their front lawn. These people couldn’t keep a potted cactus alive, but they are constantly coming up with new rules and regulations that farmers must follow, otherwise they’ll lose the land that’s been in their families for more than a century.
In short, it’s time for a divorce. The differences are irreconcilable. The differences can’t be fixed. There’s no “compromise” with someone who wants to permanently mutilate the genitals of children, or who believes we’ll all die somehow if we keep using cheap and reliable energy.
It’s time to divide up the assets. Portland can keep the hard drugs and drag queen story hour. Eastern Oregonians should get to have cheap and reliable energy, and be able to take the little bags off their cows’ tails that are supposed to catch the farts.
Are leftists in Portland happy that all of their subjects in Eastern Oregon have voted to divorce them? Oh, of course not. They are not happy at all. The normal folks in Eastern Oregon are supposed to keep paying skyrocketing taxes and putting up with the lunatic ideas of the people in Portland. Know your place, peasants!
But this is going to happen. Almost every county in Eastern Oregon has now voted to secede and join Idaho. Since conservatives are the only people left in America who have compassion, the Republicans in the Idaho legislature are now moving to see if this can happen and if they can rescue their fellow Americans from Portland. This will hopefully set off a chain reaction of more secessions in more states. Our differences cannot be overcome. All we can do is separate peacefully now.
Because you can be sure of this: If we don’t start separating peacefully now, the separations will happen the hard way soon.
