Conservative media has been hammering the Biden regime over the sudden baby formula shortage in America, and rightly so. Panicked mothers are having to drive hundreds of miles and go to multiple stores to try to find baby formula right now. Others are trying to boost milk production—not an easy or automatic feat. But one thing that most people don’t realize is that this crisis was completely manufactured by Joe Biden’s team.

The biggest baby formula processing plant in America has been shut down for months and Biden is keeping it closed. And if that doesn’t make your blood boil, wait until you hear the second reason why this shortage is happening.

Abbott Laboratories in Michigan is the single largest baby formula producer in America. Back in February, four children became sick, and two babies died, and it was thought at the time that a bacterium in Abbott baby formula was the culprit. The FDA under the Biden regime shut the plant down. After a three-day investigation, Abbott Laboratories and FDA scientists found no evidence whatsoever that the plant was the source of the bacterial infection.

Here we are three months later. The plant is still shut down, because the FDA refuses to let it reopen. The ripple effect of having the biggest baby formula producer shut down for three months has finally caught up with us. Babies in America are not going hungry today because of “Putin” or even because of supply chain issues. Babies are going hungry because Joe Biden is deliberately starving them.

When the plant was first shut down, there was a massive recall of Similac, Alimentum and EleCare baby formula products. After investigating those, the FDA found no evidence of bacteria or anything harmful. That recalled formula is now sitting on a shelf in a warehouse. There’s nothing wrong with it, but the FDA under Joe Biden is just letting it sit there unused as American babies go hungry.

The baby formula shortage is as high as 50% in Texas, Tennessee, Missouri, Iowa, and North & South Dakota. The shortage is about 40% in Rhode Island, Connecticut, New Jersey, Delaware, Montana and Washington state. The shortage is real. This isn’t some cooked-up fake news media story that’s caused people to panic-buy all the formula off the shelves.

Even if Joe Biden allowed the Abbott plant to reopen today, the CEO now says it would take months to get back up to speed and reduce the shortages. Employees have been out of work for three months. Equipment that normally runs 24 hours a day has been shut down for three months. Tons of safety checks will need to be done before restarting, in order to comply with FDA rules, naturally.

But Joe Biden is not restarting the plant today. They don’t seem to even have a plan to restart it. Congress doesn’t seem too concerned, either. They just passed a $40 billion aid package to Ukraine this week, rather than do anything about mothers with starving babies in the most food-rich country on the planet. Way to work on that approval rating right before the election, guys!

And it continues to snatch up formula off the shelves in places that are already suffering shortages, so it can supply it to the foreigners that just illegally walked across our border.

It can’t be stated enough times: American babies are going hungry right now, today, because Joe Biden is deliberately starving them. He won’t allow the biggest baby formula plant in the country to reopen anytime soon. And he is providing baby formula stockpiles to foreigners first.

None of this would be a problem, obviously, if Donald Trump were still in office and the 2020 election had not been stolen. This shortage would never happen with the country under his leadership. And even if a baby formula shortage did happen on Trump’s watch, it would have lasted about five minutes before he solved it.
