Well, well, well, look who’s back in the saddle. Immigration and Customs Enforcement is having a hiring party, and America’s patriots are RSVP-ing in droves. ICE just hit a jaw-dropping 175,000 job applications as it ramps up operations to support President Donald Trump’s unapologetically America-first deportation agenda. That’s right — the line to join the team protecting our borders is longer than a Starbucks drive-thru in Portland during Pride Month.
Tricia McLaughlin, the Department of Homeland Security’s Assistant Secretary for Public Affairs, dropped the number like it was a mic: “It’s 175,000 Americans [who] have applied to join ICE. Amazing!” she told Breitbart News. She praised the surge of applicants as proof that Americans are fed up with the open-border nonsense of yesteryear and are ready to defend their neighborhoods from the chaos that liberal immigration policies left behind like a frat party on Sunday morning.
And who can blame them? After four straight years of border bedlam under Biden and his activist pals, the American people watched their towns become overwhelmed, their hospitals jammed, their schools packed, and their wallets drained. Sanctuary cities turned into sanctuary zoos, and the only thing “inclusive” was the crime rate. But now, the tide is turning. The grown-ups are back in charge, and they’re bringing handcuffs.
Thanks to the One Big, Beautiful Bill Act (yes, it’s actually called that, and yes, it’s beautifully effective), ICE has been given the green light and the cold hard cash to hire 10,000 new agents. That’s not just a hiring spree — that’s a national security surge. You know, the kind that actually keeps Americans safe instead of just virtue-signaling on cable news while the border turns into a revolving door.
Let’s talk numbers. President Trump has made it clear he wants to remove up to 21 million illegal aliens from the United States. That’s not a typo. Twenty-one million. And so far, a solid 2.2 million have hit the road, whether by Greyhound or courtesy of ICE. Voluntary or otherwise, the message is clear: if you’re here illegally, your time is up. The era of catch-and-release is over. This is catch-and-deport — and Americans are lining up to be the ones holding the net.
Compare that with the last administration, which practically rolled out the red carpet for illegal immigrants. Biden’s border policies were like leaving the front door open and wondering why raccoons were in the kitchen. And for years, Democrats told us that enforcing immigration laws was somehow racist, cruel, or un-American. Now, under Trump’s leadership, Americans are proudly signing up to do just that. Turns out, protecting your country isn’t racist — it’s responsible.
This isn’t just about ICE getting more boots on the ground. It’s about restoring law, order, and sanity to a system that was intentionally sabotaged by people more interested in importing voters than protecting citizens. It’s about reminding Washington that the American people still believe in borders, laws, and national sovereignty — even if the D.C. cocktail circuit doesn’t.
So while progressives are busy lighting candles for sanctuary cities and sobbing into their oat milk lattes, real Americans are stepping up. They’re applying to ICE in record numbers, answering the call to serve, and helping President Trump deliver on his promise to put America first — again and again.
The message couldn’t be clearer: the border is back under control, the rule of law is back in fashion, and the American people are ready to make sure it stays that way. Time’s up, Democrats. The deportation train is rolling, and it’s standing room only.
