Hawaii Declares ‘Disaster Emergency’ Over Parents Receiving Informed COVID Jab Consent

Did you know that Hawaii has been under a declared state of “Disaster Emergency” since last September? It hasn’t made any national headlines. What happened? Did a volcano erupt? Did Oprah allegedly burn up another town with a space laser so she could buy all the oceanfront property? It turns out that Democrat Governor Josh Green declared the Disaster Emergency after the CDC’s vaccine advisory panel issued a new recommendation last year. The panel says that parents should receive informed consent before allowing their children to get the experimental mRNA COVID shot.

Does that seem like a real Disaster Emergency?

Back in September, the CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) introduced the new recommendation. 2025 was a big year when it came to the COVID shots. In June, the CDC announced that it no longer recommends the jabs for pregnant women or children under 18. That makes total sense.

As we’ve reported previously, Pfizer covered up the baby deaths that occurred in trials with pregnant women. Those who received a COVID shot during the first trimester had a miscarriage rate of almost 90%. That’s an equivalent rate to receiving a chemical abortion. Pfizer covered it up in the trials and hid the information from the FDA.

Plus, no child under the age of 18 has ever died “from” COVID-19. If a child died from leukemia or some other source, and they happened to have COVID antibodies in their system, it was chalked up as a death “from” COVID. But the CDC now acknowledges that there’s a big difference between dying “with” COVID in your system, versus dying “from” COVID. The disease was never that dangerous to children.

So, that recommendation made sense.

At the tail end of 2025, the FDA announced that the COVID shots had killed multiple children. Current FDA Director Marty Makary told staffers in a memo that it now appears that the risk the shots pose to children outweigh any potential rewards. No American child is at risk of dying from COVID-19. But your child could potentially be killed if they receive these injections.

But back to the ACIP recommendation.

Even though the CDC does not recommend the dangerous, experimental mRNA shots for children, parents still have the option to have their children jabbed. However, parents must receive informed consent first. If someone has a child with a weak immune system, and they’re worried about COVID, they can talk it over with their doctor.

It’s just that doctors are no longer allowed to pretend that the jabs are “safe and effective.” They must tell parents that, realistically, the shots only provide about 30 to 45 days of immunity. After that, the effectiveness vanishes and they can still catch COVID anyway.

More importantly, parents must be informed that the shots pose very real, permanent risks to a child. The risk of myocarditis and pericarditis—serious forms of heart inflammation—can impact a child for the rest of their life. Every day, researchers are finding new links between the mRNA technology and the rise in turbo cancers in vaccinated people.

Governor Josh Green declared a “Disaster Emergency” in his state over the idea that parents might be told that the COVID shots are not “safe and effective.” Parental involvement in medical decisions for their children is a fundamental right, but Josh Green views that as a crisis.

Governor Green invoked emergency powers to ensure that kids in Hawaii can receive the COVID jabs without parental knowledge or consent. Under Green’s emergency order, any medical provider including a pharmacist at Walgreens can give a COVID shot to any child over the age of 3 without a prescription.

The Democrats in the Hawaii legislature have also introduced bills this session that will make all vaccines mandatory for all children in all circumstances. The bills would strip away all non-medical exemptions, including religious exemptions. The new mandate would even apply to children in private and parochial schools.

If these bills pass and Green signs them into law, the only option that parents will have to get around the vaccine mandate is homeschooling. (We’re sure they’ll come after homeschooling families next, after the Democrats realize they missed that loophole.)

Green’s Disaster Emergency over parental informed consent was renewed in November. It’s set to expire in January, but critics say Green is planning on extending it again. Green’s office has refused to comment on the issue.
