Georgia Appeals Court Just Blew Up the Fani Willis Case Against Trump

The slow-motion implosion of Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis’s RICO case against President Donald Trump has been a joy to watch. President Trump now has one less BS lawfare case to worry about between now and the election.

A Georgia appellate court has put everything on hold until October 4th, pending a hearing over whether to kick Willis off the case entirely. There’s no possible way the case can now go to trial before the election.

The nation was captivated by the saga of this RICO case earlier this year. Not because the charges against President Trump have any merit, but because of the incredible corruption, nepotism, and sexual hijinks that were going on in the Fulton County District Attorney’s office. The hearing over whether the District Court judge should kick Willis off the Trump case entirely was must-see television.

Before any of this ever started, Willis was playing the homewrecker by carrying on a sexual affair with a married attorney named Nathan Wade. Mr. Wade is a mediocre Atlanta family law attorney who specializes in paternity suits in Jerry Springer-style baby mama cases.

When Fani Willis got the call from Joe Biden’s White House Counsel that they wanted to run a lawfare operation against President Trump in Georgia, for questioning the fake 2020 election, Fani jumped at the chance.

She immediately appointed her married lover to the job of lead prosecutor on Operation Get Trump. She paid Nathan Wade $250 an hour for his services, which was $100 an hour more than anyone else on her team—including the state’s leading RICO prosecutor. (Nathan Wade has never tried a RICO case before in his career.)

Wade didn’t hesitate to put his newfound, nepotistic riches to work. He started taking Fani Willis on lavish overseas vacations and showering her with gifts. Mrs. Wade was none too happy about this when she found out. By the time they got caught, Fani Willis had paid her loverboy close to $1 million in Georgia taxpayers’ money.

Take two steps back for a second. Imagine that you are a member of the Biden regime and you’re about to embark on an unprecedented Banana Republic operation to use the courts to take out your political opposition. You’re going FULL PAKISTAN.

You would want to line up a group of prosecutors who are top-notch for this prosecution, to try to give it an air of credibility. You’d pick the crème-de-la-crème, right? But not the Biden White House!

Out of all the leftwing prosecutors in the country that they could have turned to, they chose a woman who accidentally put her dress on backward for the most important court hearing of her career: Fani Willis!

Wow! Just… wow!

The Fulton County judge ruled in that explosive hearing that Nathan Wade had to go, but Fani Willis could stay on the case. President Trump’s legal team appealed that ruling, and that brings us up to today.

The appellate court has agreed to take up President Trump’s challenge to Fani Willis’s eligibility to even try the case against him. The court has imposed a stay on all proceedings in the case until the hearing on October 4th. The three-judge panel will decide that month whether to disqualify Fani from the case entirely.

So, what happens if she gets kicked off the case?

There are a couple of possibilities. If Trump wins reelection, the case goes away entirely (And his enemies will all swing from the gallows! Shh! Don’t tell liberals the Secret MAGA Plan™.)

The other option is that some other county prosecutor in Georgia would have to pick up the pieces and try to cobble this dog turd of a case back together. The case couldn’t go back to Fulton County because Fani Willis will be out. No conservative or pro-Trump prosecutor would touch this case with a ten-foot pole. For a liberal prosecutor, picking up this case could very well be career suicide—especially if they have engaged in any sort of improprieties like Fani Willis has. They would get the same level of scrutiny that uncovered Fani’s wrongdoing.

Then again, we shouldn’t underestimate the power of Trump Derangement Syndrome to make liberals make poor life choices. Maybe some liberal prosecutor will end up picking up the case. We’ll have to wait and see.
