Florida Bill Would Mandate Full Investigations of Sudden Deaths After Vaccination

Florida continues to lead the nation when it comes to producing good scientific data for public health. State Senator Ileana Garcia (R-36) has introduced SB 188, which would require medical examiners to conduct a thorough investigation when any young adult, child, or infant dies from a case of “Suddenly” after a vaccination. If the bill becomes law, Florida will become the first state to require mandatory reporting to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) on deaths that may be related to vaccines.

This type of medical and health data has been absolutely forbidden by the medical establishment in the US for decades. CDC maintains two databases that are relevant to the Florida bill. These are the Sudden Unexpected Infant Death (SUID) and Sudden Death in the Young (SDY) registries.

The SUID registry tracks deaths of infants under 12 months who die suddenly, often while sleeping. This includes Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS), accidental suffocation, and unknown causes.

The SDY registry tracks sudden deaths among children and young people under age 20, who die unexpectedly from various causes. This includes cardiac, neurological, and mysterious unknown causes. (SDY does not include accidental deaths like car accidents or drownings. Those are tracked separately.)

Only about 40% of infant deaths are even reported to SUID, because the paperwork is a hassle and medical examiners don’t take the time to fill it out. There are only 32 sites nationwide that report the deaths of infants, children, and young people. Florida currently doesn’t report the deaths of infants and young people to these registries.

None of these participating sites examines or reports the vaccination history of the kids when they die. It’s a giant black hole of missing data.

Senate Bill 188 will make it mandatory for all Florida medical examiners to review the immunization records and report on any vaccines or “emergency countermeasures” that were administered to a deceased child in the 90 days prior to death.

Dr. Maija Hahn is a pathologist and autism expert who authored the bill for the Florida Senate.

“This is about finally looking at the data instead of ignoring it,” says Dr. Hahn. “We’ve seen a massive increase in sudden deaths since the rollout of the COVID-19 vaccine. If we don’t look, we’ll never know if the association is meaningful.”

A recent study published in the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) came to a damning conclusion about the CDC’s data collection on sudden, unexplained deaths of infants, children, and young people. Reporting is inconsistent, patchy, and far from comprehensive. The CDC is underreporting the number of kids dying from mysterious and unexplained causes.

This is one of those questions that the medical community already knows the answer to, so they’re afraid to look at the data in the first place. America loses an average of about 3,200 babies who die every year from Sudden Unexplained Infant Death.

Japan, which is an advanced country that’s medically comparable to the United States, has fewer than 100 SIDS deaths every year. Statistically, the US has more than 32 times as many infants dying as Japan.

The Japanese government made infant vaccines optional before age 2 in 1994. The specific reason why they changed the law was because their doctors noticed a spike in SIDS deaths after the vaccine schedule was increased (they had followed the CDC’s recommendations starting in the late 1980s).

We have higher infant death rates than any other wealthy nation. SIDS is the third leading cause of death among babies in America. Earlier this year, the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (VICP) issued a $300,000 payout to parents who lost their 11-week-old daughter. The baby had received four routine shots during a routine pediatric checkup.

Since the rollout of the COVID jabs, we’ve seen kids as young as 7 dying from strokes in America. Yes, pediatric strokes and heart attacks existed before the shots, but why are we seeing more of them now? Shouldn’t health officials look into it?

If SB 188 becomes law, it could set a new national precedent on investigating vaccine safety. When an infant or child dies, shouldn’t medical examiners look for every possible cause, in case it is something environmental? Isn’t that the type of medical research that’s worth doing?
