There’s been a lot happening in the news the past few days, so you might have missed a sleepy US Supreme Court decision that happened on Friday. The high court ruled that President Donald Trump can fire liberal commissioners from so-called “independent” federal agencies without cause. Yawn. Shrug. Most Americans do not realize the monumental significance of this, but the Deep State does. Donald Trump just became the first real American president with full executive power that we’ve had since 1935. Let’s unpack this.

The biggest expansion of administrative power in the US happened in 1935, under President Franklin D. Roosevelt’s New Deal. That was the year that the “Fourth Branch” of government was created. Powerful independent agencies like the Social Security Administration, the National Labor Relations Board, and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation were formed.

These agencies were designed to regulate key sectors of the economy and American society. They have legislative powers. When the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) decided to claim jurisdiction over the mud puddles in everyone’s driveway as “protected wetlands” (this actually happened under Obama), that became the law. Even though Congress didn’t vote on it and you certainly didn’t.

When FDR was setting up the Deep State, he got sued and the case went to the Supreme Court. In Humphrey’s Executor v. United States, the court ruled that no president can fire the commissioners of any of these “independent” agencies. A president can’t fire them. Congress can’t fire them. They’re accountable to no one—and they’re the ones who have been running the American government and our entire society from behind the scenes for the past 90 years.

This changed our form of constitutional governance completely. It no longer mattered who won the presidential election. The only thing that mattered was who stayed behind.

Presidents can appoint commissioners to these so-called “independent” agencies, but can never fire them without cause. That’s why we saw so much obstruction of President Trump’s agenda during his first term. Liberal commissioners were defying direct orders from the Commander in Chief, and Trump couldn’t fire them.

For the past 90 years, no president has been allowed to fire the head of the US Postal Service, let alone the CIA Director. We have 20 federal agencies that fall under this “independent” category. Once a person is appointed to these positions, Congress can’t fire them, the president can’t fire them, and the American people can’t fire them.

The Humphrey decision was basically a coup that overthrew our constitutional form of government. Every president for the past 90 years has been a figurehead in his own administration. No Republican president between Dwight Eisenhower and Donald Trump’s first term ever had the authority to fire liberal commissioners from the Federal Trade Commission, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, or even the Peace Corps.

We’ve all heard of diplomatic immunity. There are 700 Deep State operatives running these 20 independent agencies. They can’t be fired by anyone. They can’t be impeached. They’re accountable to no one. They’re untouchable. Even though no one elected them, they can pass “rules” with the force of law behind them that can destroy your life.

They have bureaucratic immunity.

Or they used to have it, until now.

The Supreme Court ruled 6-3 on Friday that President Trump can fire FTC Commissioner Rebecca Slaughter. The court will be taking up President Trump’s direct challenge to the Humphrey’s decision in December. The Slaughter ruling indicates that the court is ready to finally overturn Humphrey’s and restore executive power to the chief executive.

The Deep State has had decades to implant its globalist operatives inside these untouchable posts. They’ve been dug in like ticks. No matter who was in the Oval Office, the globalist agenda against American freedom has survived. The unelected bureaucrats in the “Fourth Branch” have outranked the Commander in Chief for all these years.

That all changes now. President Trump now wields a powerful weapon that he was denied during his first term. The globalist Democrat Party’s stranglehold over the executive branch has ended after 90 years. It’s hard to understate how much this is going to reshape American society.

President Trump is not a dictator or a king. He is one of those rare men of history who has restored power and freedom to his people. America’s new Golden Age is only just beginning.
