Isn’t it amazing how frightened Democrats are of him, after all this time? It’s been almost two years since America’s best president left office, but liberal heads continue to explode in rage at the thought that Donald J. Trump still exists. He occupies their nightmares. He creeps into their thoughts during every waking moment, sending shivers down their spines.

He’s no longer allowed to speak in the public square, because he’s been banned from social media. And yet liberals still cannot rest, because they know that President Trump would handily win reelection if the 2024 contest were held today. They’re so scared of him that they’re openly talking about rewriting the Constitution now, just to stop him.

John F. Harris is the founding editor of the news rag “Politico.” He scribbled an op-ed last week declaring, “The Best Way to Save the Constitution from Donald Trump is to Rewrite It.”

“Who cares what the founders thought then?” opines Harris in his insane screed. It would be easy to dismiss Harris’s rantings as the work of yet another loon with Trump Derangement Syndrome. But Harris manages a large, mainstream media outlet and even though their readership is shrinking, they do have some reach among media elites and Democrat leaning voters. And that readership listens to these people and believes them.

We might think it’s crazy talk to claim that the Constitution needs to be shredded in order to stop the people from democratically electing Donald Trump again. But these nutjobs really mean it!

Harris wrote:

“Correcting or circumventing what progressives reasonably perceive as the infirmities of the Constitution, in fact, seems likely to be the preeminent liberal objective of the next generation. Progress on issues ranging from climate change to ensuring that technology giants act in the public interest will hinge on creating a new constitutional consensus.”

In other words, let’s burn the barn down to try to save some of the horses inside it.

It’s the Russia collusion hoax all the way down with these people. I can’t really get into the headspace of Trump’s enemies, but I think that might be what it boils down to.

Democrats and NeverTrump RINOs who never mattered anyway truly believe the Russia collusion hoax to this day. They think that Vladimir Putin somehow “hacked our democracy” and installed Donald Trump in the presidency, rather than just acknowledging the simple truth: Trump won.

Since Putin installed Trump, and Trump is therefore illegitimate, none of the rules and standards and norms apply to Donald Trump in their minds. Any illegal act carried out AGAINST Donald Trump is therefore justifiable in their minds.

Two years after Donald Trump left office, there are two corrupt Attorneys General (New York and Georgia) who are trying to find some ginned up crime that Trump committed. They’re not investigating actual crimes that happened. They’re fishing to try to find a crime – something, anything – that they can charge Trump with. This is the exact opposite of how our system is supposed to work, but whatever! It’s Trump, so we have to get him!

The FBI is still spying on Donald Trump two years after he left office. It’s unprecedented for the FBI to spy on a sitting president and it’s unprecedented for them to spy on one who has left office. But here we are. Things are different somehow when it’s Donald Trump we’re talking about, because he is “Putin’s puppet” and must be stopped.

This is how the justify the Mar-a-Lago raid by the FBI, which is also unprecedented in American history. Hillary Clinton had classified documents on her illegal bathroom server when she was Obama’s Secretary of State but was never charged with a crime. She was legit and Trump’s not, so let’s kick in the door at Mar-a-Lago and act like that’s normal. He deserves it.

Likewise, dozens and dozens of Trump supporters across the country, from Mike Lindell to me, are being harassed and pestered by the FBI right before the 2022 midterm elections. We deserve it in the minds of liberals, because we support an illegitimate president. Joe Biden even has the US Postal Service spying on Trump supporters.

No amount of evidence will ever convince them that the Russia collusion hoax was a hoax. And nothing up to and including the Constitution is going to stop them from trying to prevent us from reelecting the man. Fine. Now we know the terms of the arrangement. We’ll adjust accordingly.​
