It’s no secret that the Democrats HATE the fact that the Twitter files publication revealed Joe Biden and their party’s massive state-sponsored censorship, but now things are getting scary, as the leftists are saying that journalists are a threat to democracy in America.

During a new U.S. House Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government, House Democrats went after the two journalists who exposed the censorship efforts of Joe Biden, his administration, Adam Schiff, and other Democrats.

Ranking Member Democratic Del. Stacey E. Plaskett labeled the award winning reporters Matt Taibbi and Michael Shellenberger as dangerous and a threat.

She attempted to claim that Republicans brought these two journalists in “to release cherry-picked out-of-context emails and screenshots designed to promote his chosen narrative – Elon Musk’s chosen narrative – that is now being parroted by the Republicans” for political gain.

“I’m not exaggerating when I say you have called two witnesses who pose a direct threat to people who oppose them,” Plaskett said.

So let me get this straight, the Democrats got CAUGHT colluding with Big Tech and the Federal Gov. to censor conservative Americans, and now they want us to believe the journalists who wrote about it are somehow the bad guys?!

Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, Republican Rep. Jim Jordan of Ohio, had a simple response to her accusations:

“It’s crazy what you were just saying.

He continued, “You don’t want people to see what happened.”

“…transparency. You don’t want that, and you don’t want two journalists who have been named personally by the Biden administration, the FTC in a letter. They say they’re here to help and tell their story, and frankly, I think they’re brave individuals for being willing to come after being named in a letter from the Biden FTC.”

And its true! The FTC has DEMANDED that Elon Musk give them names of ALL the journalists who gained access to the Twitter files – what do you think they’re planning to do with these people who they now claim “pose a threat?”

After the Dems tried to claim he was part of the newest terror threat in America, Taibbi responded and SHUT THEM DOWN!

“The original promise of the Internet was that it might democratize the exchange of information globally. A free internet would overwhelm all attempts to control information flow, its very existence a threat to anti-democratic forms of government everywhere,” Taibbi said.

“What we found in the Files was a sweeping effort to reverse that promise, and use machine learning and other tools to turn the internet into an instrument of censorship and social control. Unfortunately, our own government appears to be playing a lead role.”

Taibbi pointedly added that “effectively, news media became an arm of a state-sponsored thought-policing system.”

However the Democrats had NO ANSWER for Taibbi’s facts, and resorted to attacking him personally instead.

One extremely disturbing exchange saw Former Democratic National Committee chair Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz attacking the practice of journalism itself. The Democrats HATE the free press that actually does its job!

They’re so used to the media falling in line and pushing their fake narratives to keep them in power that they have full blown meltdowns like this whenever there is a real journalist around – or as they would call them, “a threat!”
