Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has proven himself to be one of the most impressive members of President Donald Trump’s cabinet and this moment I’m about to tell you about is exactly why.

Over the weekend, CNN published an article using “unnamed sources” to peddle some absurd lie about how the Pentagon eliminating climate programs will be “harmful to national security.”

The vast majority of government fraud and waste discovered by the Trump admin thus far has been hiding behind things like “climate change” so it’s not exactly surprising to see a Democrat-allied outlet like CNN drumming up propaganda to try and keep that giant grift going.

“The DOD and DOGE have said they plan to cut climate programs in the Pentagon – but officials & experts are warning that climate efforts at DOD are directly linked to military readiness, and say cuts could put troops and military operations at risk,” CNN wrote.

“I think they’re stuck on the word ‘climate’ and not seeing the operational impacts,” one unnamed official told CNN. This anonymous source also told them that the cuts to climate change will pose “readiness issues all around.”

Another one of their sources, Dr. Ravi Chaudhary, former assistant secretary of the Air Force for energy, installations and environment said pretty much the same thing. “Inaction (on climate change) at this point will put our readiness and the lives of our troops and their families at greater risk,” Chaudhary said.

CNN’s sources are seriously trying to convince us that by spending less money on “climate change programs” this will somehow make U.S. military less combat ready?

Yeah… I’m not buying it…And neither is Secretary Hegseth!

The Secretary of Defense responded to this CNN propaganda, saying flat-out, the Department of Defense “does not do climate change crap. We do training and warfighting.”

Pentagon Press Secretary John Ullyot also chimed in on the matter, telling CNN that the DOD is “is working closely with DOGE to identify efficiencies and savings across the department on behalf of taxpayers while we restore the warrior ethos and refocus our military on its core mission of deterring, fighting and winning wars.”

“Climate zealotry and other woke chimeras of the Left are not part of that core mission,” Ullyot added.

This core mission is exactly what the Democrat-controlled Pentagon seems to have lost track of.

The Pentagon is supposed to protect the United States by ensuring we have a strong and capable military. How on earth they fit “climate change” into that is beyond me, but this return to normalcy, return to sanity, is EXACTLY what this country needs.

Hegseth has proven himself to be a true patriot who not only has America’s best interests in mind, but does not shy away from the corrupt media who try and peddle propaganda to the contrary.

This is EXACTLY what the American people wanted from President Trump’s second term, and we’re getting it.
