Clear Majority of Americans Now Believes January 6 Was Instigated by the Feds

Republicans in the Senate gave Biden’s Attorney General Merrick Garland a massive raise late last year, so he could hunt down more January 6ers. The DOJ arrested approximately 1,000 J6ers in the first year after the election justice protest. Those were mostly individuals who briefly wandered inside the Capitol building and milled around for a while before leaving without hurting anyone or breaking anything.

The next 1,000 will be people who stood on part of the lawn outside where they allegedly weren’t supposed to be.

The good news is that clear majorities of Republicans and Democrats no longer believe Joe Biden and the media’s lies about the “insurrection.”

A majority 65% of American voters believe that the violence that was instigated on January 6 was carried out by federal agents provocateur. That includes 59% of Democrat voters who believe it is “very likely” or “somewhat likely” that federal agents broke windows and punched cops. 74% of Republicans think it’s “very likely” or “somewhat likely.”

That’s a 4% increase since early March, prior to Tucker Carlson releasing a tiny portion of the January 6 tapes that were covered up. There is some debate over whether Fox News forced Tucker Carlson to stop airing the tapes after that first blockbuster night. The second night of the presentation fizzled out badly. We’ll probably never know.

But there’s no denying that there were some immediate and very good effects that resulted from that tiny bit of sunlight. Jacob Chansley, the “QAnon Shaman,” had just begun a 41-month prison sentence, supposedly for leading the “violent insurrection.” He was moved out of prison and into a halfway house almost immediately after Tucker’s broadcast. Chansley’s mother says that he’s coming home “very soon.”

That’s pretty amazing and wonderful, honestly. Chansley never should have been arrested in the first place, let alone held in solitary confinement until Garland tortured a guilty plea out of him. Tucker aired video that had been withheld from Chansley’s defense attorney, which clearly showed the police leading him around like tour guides and helping him. Chansley thanked the cops for being so cool once he was inside the Senate chambers, where they had led him.

A trespassing citation in Washington, DC, which is all that Chansley could have reasonably been charged with, carries a $100 fine. Merrick Garland wrecked the man’s life, because he had questions about the stolen 2020 election.

Think how many other January 6ers could be let out of jail right now if all the footage were to be publicly released, and their defense attorneys could finally get a look at it.

We also know, thanks to the footage Tucker released, that police officer Brian Sicknick was not bludgeoned to death by Trump supporters with a fire extinguisher. Sicknick was walking around just fine at a time when the January 6 Liz Cheney Committee said he was dead. Officer Sicknick, who was a Trump supporter, tragically died of a stroke the next day.

The Justice Department is still trying to convict two Trump supporters by claiming that they caused Sicknick’s stroke by spraying bear spray near him. That didn’t happen; the footage disproved that. Sicknick was dosed with pepper spray and tear gas by his own fellow officers. Can tear gas and/or pepper spray cause someone to have a stroke? Yes, it can.

In addition to understanding that the feds instigated January 6th, most people understand that it was a giant kabuki theater for armed troops to surround the US Capitol of the next few months. Remember that? The troops stayed there for months, costing taxpayers more than $500 million, and it was all totally unnecessary.

Those troops wouldn’t have been needed at all if Nancy Pelosi and DC Mayor Muriel Bowers had followed Trump’s advice to call up the National Guard on January 6th. They refused, because they didn’t want anyone interrupting the plan to have federal agents instigate violence.

Joe Biden and the media’s Big Lie about January 6th has totally collapsed. Two out of three Americans now believe the incident was sparked by the feds. Our hope is that House Republicans will start to rein in Merrick Garland’s witch hunt against the January 6ers, because Senate Republicans will just throw their own voter base to the wolves because they don’t like Donald Trump.
