Chicago and Portland Are in Open Insurrection Against America

The Insurrection Act of 1807 is trending on social media. Following a weekend of violent attacks on ICE agents in Chicago and Portland, the American people are starting to see what the Trump administration is really up against. ICE vehicles were rammed and boxed in by multiple cars in Chicago, and agents were forced to defensively shoot an illegal alien communist who was brandishing a submachine gun. The reality we need to prepare ourselves for is that sending in the troops to back up ICE might not be enough to handle this situation.

The police in Portland and Chicago have been ordered not to assist ICE agents when they come under attack from the Democrat Party’s foot soldiers. The cops in these cities are being good little Nazis and “just following orders.” They don’t rush in to help civilians or ICE agents when they come under attack. This is a clear and open act of insurrection against the US government.

The Insurrection Act of 1807 is one of our nation’s oldest laws on the books. It was signed into law by President Thomas Jefferson. It authorizes President Trump to send in the troops or the National Guard in cases of insurrection or armed rebellion against the US government. The Democrat Party’s domestic terrorists are preventing federal officers from carrying out federal immigration raids, which are a matter of national security.

But even if Trump does send in the troops and they start arresting the guerrilla militants (many of whom received combat training in Syria while Joe Biden was in office), what good is that going to do?

What happens next? Suppose the troops and federal agents do make a bunch of arrests in these cities. Kamala Harris and Democrat Party leaders will raise bail money for them. “Soros prosecutors” will downgrade the charges. Corrupt judges will dismiss the cases entirely. Then we’ll be right back to where we started, with liberal enclaves in open rebellion against our nation.

One of the most popular leaders in the entire world has some words of advice for President Trump right now. It’s time to impeach the judges.

Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele was first elected in 2019 with 53% of the vote. He was reelected last year with 85% of the vote. How he accomplished that provides an important lesson for President Trump.

El Salvador had the highest murder rate in the world when Bukele was first elected, at 109 homicides per 100,000 people. That was more than twice as high as Brazil’s murder rate, and five times higher than Mexico’s.

Starting in 2022, Bukele’s administration imposed a “state of exception” that suspended certain civil liberties for known gang members. They arrested more than 85,000 members of MS-13, locked them in cramped prisons, and don’t plan on ever letting them out. Not ever.

The murder rate in El Salvador is expected to be around 1.3 per 100,000 this year, which is the lowest in the Western hemisphere. It’s now one of the safest countries in the entire world to visit. That’s how Bukele was reelected with 85% of the vote in 2024.

But Bukele says that this never would have happened if they had not first impeached all the corrupt judges. The judges in El Salvador, just like many of the judges here in the United States, were installed in their positions by a corrupt system. They were never going to allow the reforms that it took to turn El Salvador into a paradise once again. The judges were in the way, so they had to be removed to restore the nation’s constitutional republic.

That is the message that President Trump must be conveying to the Republican-controlled Congress. Some District court judge just ruled that President Trump cannot call up National Guard troops and send them into Portland. If we don’t start getting rid of these corrupt judges, who are in open rebellion against the laws of the United States government, we’re likely to end up in a civil war.

If Bukele had not first impeached the corrupt judges in El Salvador, the country would still have the highest murder rate in the world. If President Trump hopes to succeed and Make America Great Again, these corrupt judges holding up his agenda need to go.
