This is a truly sad day for America and the first major loss of President Trump’s upcoming term in office. The Deep State has claimed another scalp. Former Florida Congressman Matt Gaetz has withdrawn his name from consideration to be President Trump’s Attorney General.
The one congressman who was best equipped to lead the Department of Justice and take a chainsaw to its entrenched, corrupt, secret police bureaucracy was taken out by dirty tricks by that very same department. What an awful setback.
The House Ethics Committee voted this week to uphold longstanding tradition when it comes to congressional investigations. They voted not to release the Ethics Committee’s unfinished report into false allegations that Matt Gaetz was a sex trafficker.
It looked like that was going to be the end of the false allegations and the nasty confirmation fight. As soon as he thought it was safe, RINO Sen. Lindsey Graham came out and vigorously defended him. He told his Senate Republican colleagues to stop the “lynching of Matt Gaetz.”
So, the Department of Justice illegally leaked some of the pages from its fake investigation into the utterly false Matt Gaetz “sex trafficking” allegations. The pages released and helpfully published by the New York Times appear to show that Matt Gaetz spent thousands of dollars on gifts to women he dated.
Holy s#%@&^!
You mean, like literally every man does when he falls in love and wants to marry a girl? That’s “sex trafficking?”
I chartered a private plane to take my future wife out to dinner one time when I was smitten with her. Does that count? It does to the FBI when they want to falsely smear a conservative with sex trafficking allegations.
The FBI would have loved to charge Matt Gaetz with sex trafficking or soliciting prostitutes, but they didn’t. Do you know why?
Two reasons. One, because giving gifts to a person you’re dating is not sex trafficking or prostitution. When you come from a wealthier family like Matt Gaetz does, you spend more on impressing women you date. That still doesn’t make it sex trafficking. Imagine how much money Eric Trump spent wooing his wife Lara and you get the picture.
Two, not a single person interrogated by the FBI in this false smear investigation ever had anything bad to say about Matt Gaetz. None of the women characterized the gifts as an exchange for sex. There’s no evidence that he was ever involved with a 17-year-old, either.
None of this matters, though, because normal people who don’t pay much attention to politics won’t look into this story. They’ll just hear the words “Matt Gaetz,” “sex trafficking,” and “17-year-old” and assume he’s guilty, instead of coming to the conclusion that the FBI and the Department of Justice are rotten to the core and they don’t fight fair.
The FBI is a secret police organization that is just as evil and dirty as the KGB under the Soviet Union.
Don’t believe me?
The FBI raided the homes of journalist James O’Keefe and his staffers to recover Ashley Biden’s diary. It wasn’t a crime for Project Veritas to possess the diary. It was a crime for the FBI to violate the First Amendment because they didn’t want Project Veritas to publish details from the diary showing that Joe Biden is a filthy (alleged) pedophile who sexually abused his toddler daughter in the shower.
The FBI and DOJ do much worse than that, though. Just ask LaVoy Finicum in Oregon. Oh, wait. You can’t ask him, because an FBI assassin shot him in the back at point-blank range because they didn’t like his politics.
You could ask Sheryl Attkisson, though. Remember when she reported on Barack Obama and former Attorney General Eric Holder’s Fast and Furious operation when they sold guns to Mexican drug cartels? This is how the FBI treated her family:
Sharyl Attkisson gives testimony on how the FBI was intending to plant child porn on her laptop. She was made aware by an informant.

It’s truly sad that Matt Gaetz backed down. We’ll probably never know the real reason, but I suspect his wife or his family didn’t want to be dragged through hell. That’s too bad for America because we need someone to come in and clean out that den of snakes at the DOJ and the FBI.
I can’t think of a single person who would do a better job of that than Matt Gaetz. Can you?
Note to Ron DeSantis: Now would be a good time to appoint Matt Gaetz to fill Marco Rubio’s US Senate seat.
