Alvin Bragg, the Manhattan district attorney bringing bogus charges against President Donald Trump, has been trying to dodge a congressional subpoena. Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) of the House Judiciary Committee has subpoenaed Bragg’s office, including Bragg himself and his staffers, to come testify about the unprecedented indictment of a former president on charges for which the statute of limitations had already expired.

DA Bragg petitioned a court to see if he could get out of the subpoena, but the judge just slapped the donut out of Fat Alvin’s mouth and told him he can’t dodge a congressional subpoena.

Bragg went to the court on the laughable position that Jim Jordan is politicizing this criminal case. Wouldn’t want that to happen! Bragg is arguing that his job—which is in the judicial branch of government, with him being sort of a prosecutor—is not subject to judicial oversight by the congressional committee that does all judicial oversight in America. Right.

Let’s review why there just might be a reason for the House Judiciary Committee to want to legitimately subpoena Bragg’s office, and why it just might have oversight authority here.

First, Alvin Bragg’s office took federal funds to carry out this sham Stormy Daniels investigation.

If you take federal funds, you are subject to federal oversight. That’s how it works. Who does Fat Alvin think he is? Ukraine? You don’t get to dodge oversight if you accept federal funds. The fact that he took federal funds also means that the Biden administration is definitely involved in the case. Joe Biden’s henchman Merrick Garland probably authorized the funds in order to help Alvin Bragg “get Trump.”

Second, Alvin Bragg’s office is directly interfering in the 2024 federal election. Donald Trump is the frontrunner for the 2020 election, and not just the Republican frontrunner. He’s polling as the frontrunner ahead of the incumbent Creepy Joe Biden the Kid Sniffer, who took showers with his daughter and who was credibly accused of rape by Tara Reade.

It is absolute election interference for Bragg to be pursuing this garbage case. Trump isn’t just a candidate in the race. He is the main threat to Alvin Bragg’s political party. By attempting to prosecute President Trump, Bragg has turned the entire history of our nation on its head. Spare us the “No one is above the law” talking point, because that is a steaming pile of BS.

Third, Fat Alvin and his office have explicitly stated that their persecution of Donald Trump is politically motivated. Fat Alvin took campaign cash from George Soros and campaigned on a promise in a city that voted 85% for Joe Biden, that he was going to “get Trump.”

When he first took office, Bragg looked at the case that the previous prosecutors had tried to assemble and decided that there actually was no case there. Those prosecutors quit in a huff. It was only after someone – maybe Joe Biden, maybe George Soros – called Bragg and told him to move forward with the case that he did so.

These are the reasons why Alvin Bragg has no standing to avoid legislative oversight by dodging a subpoena. There’s also the fact that the House Judiciary Committee was established in 1813 and has, since the very beginning, had oversight authority over ALL civil and criminal judicial proceedings. This isn’t some new, unprecedented thing that Jim Jordan came up with. It’s always been the duty of the Judiciary Committee to conduct oversight and keep an eye on the judicial system.

The judge agreed with Jim Jordan. Judge Mary Kay Vyskocil told Bragg in no uncertain terms that she has no standing to get in the way of a congressional subpoena—and neither does he!

Judge Vyskocil stated, “The sole question before the Court at this time is whether Bragg has a legal basis to quash a congressional subpoena that was issued with a valid legislative purpose.  He does not.”

Hahahahaha!

Bragg’s team requested a stay, pending appeal, but Judge Vyskocil rejected that. Alvin Bragg’s office is now under a court order to testify before the House Judiciary Committee. We can’t wait to see the text messages from Bragg’s higher-ups like George Soros or Merrick Garland demanding that he “get Trump” with this bogus investigation. That’s obviously why Fat Alvin doesn’t want anyone to testify. This isn’t some independent investigation. It’s another witch hunt orchestrated by the Democrat Party.
