Back in December of 2021, Joe Biden issued one of his customary threats to people who disagree with him. He told Americans, “For the unvaccinated, you’re looking at a winter of severe illness and death for yourselves, your families, and the hospitals you may soon overwhelm.” No occupant of the White House has ever issued such a nasty, scathing remark against the American people. Not even Obama. That never happened to the unvaccinated, obviously, but we’re having a winter of severe illness and death for the vaccinated right now.

Despite Joe Biden’s vicious threat, the unvaccinated were fine. Most of us didn’t experience the severe illness and death that Biden predicted, nor did we overwhelm any hospitals. (Biden’s illegal aliens are overwhelming the hospitals, but that’s a story for another time.)

Ever since 24-year-old NFL player Damar Hamlin’s collapse during Monday Night Football last week, there have been a stunning amount of people just dying or collapsing all of a sudden. Most are relatively young and healthy athletes.

On the same day that Hamlin collapsed, a 38-year-old former NFL player named Uche Nwaneri died suddenly from a heart attack. Nwaneri bragged on social media that he was vaccinated, and stated that we needed vaccine mandates and vaccine passports, and – shockingly – that all pregnant ladies should get the vaccine. The irony is thick with that one.

47-year-old Marcio Freire, a professional surfer, died of sudden cardiac arrest while he was surfing last week.

In Las Vegas, a 16-year-old sophomore girl went into cardiac arrest while playing flag football. The nurse who rushed out onto the field and tried to save her said it was the first time in her 29-year career that she’d ever had to perform CPR on a child. The girl died later at the hospital.

A second high school student from a different Las Vegas school, an 18-year-old boy, died suddenly from cardiac arrest during gym class.

An 18-year-old girl playing basketball in the Bahamas collapsed and died from a sudden cardiac event.

A 17-year-old boy in Cincinnati died from cardiac arrest on Monday this week, while he was at school. Reports don’t indicate if it happened in gym class or any other details. A 5-year-old girl in kindergarten in Huron, Ohio, died suddenly at her school this week as well. No cause of death has been determined as of this writing.

CTV News reporter Jessica Robb collapsed during a live news report on Sunday night. She survived. She’s fully vaccinated, but Canadian health officials are saying it definitely wasn’t the vax.

40-year-old Modeste M’Bami, a professional soccer player, died of a heart attack. The day after that, a 35-year-old teacher named Jacob Sanchez collapsed and died in front of his students in San Antonio.

A 21-year-old cadet who played football for the Air Force Academy collapsed and died while walking to class this week. He wasn’t even doing anything strenuous. He was just walking and then he was gone.

A basketball player from Old Dominion University collapsed while clutching his chest during a game against Georgia Southern on Saturday night. He survived, but when is the last time in your life that you’ve seen a young, healthy basketball player collapse while clutching his heart?

Five college players at Concordia University Chicago had to be rushed to the hospital at the same time when they all collapsed during a “rigorous workout” the other night. They all lived, but when’s the last time you saw that happen?

A 16-year-old girl who is a standout basketball player in Odessa-Montour, New York had a stroke while she was at school. She’s still in the hospital.

Park rangers say they typically only see two hikers die per year in Joshua Tree National Park in California. They’ve had two hikers die in the past week. The first died suddenly when his heart stopped while he was hiking with his family. And a 51-year-old woman was found dead after she apparently just fell down. That’s some rough country. You don’t go hiking there unless you’re in fairly good physical shape.

That’s a stunning string of deaths among heathy people and especially young people and teenagers. We’re not even two weeks into 2023, and we get the feeling that this is going to last much longer than the winter season.
