7 Marathon Runners Just Died Suddenly to Kick Off the Summer Running Season

The Boston Marathon Bombing took place back in April 2013. Barack Obama had allowed known Chechen terrorists into the country as legal immigrants. Former FBI Director Robert Mueller ignored warnings from the Russian government that those Chechen terrorists were planning to set off pressure cooker bombs in the crowd that day.

Three people were killed by the bombs while hundreds of people were injured, including a dozen who lost limbs that dreadful day.

That was an exceedingly high number of people hurt for a marathon. It usually takes something like a terrorist attack to maim that many people at a marathon. But we’ve just had seven marathon runners in peak condition who dropped dead while participating in their favorite sport.

Between May 25th and June 10th, six runners dropped dead in races around the world.

On May 25, 24-year-old Olivia Tuohy died at the Edinburgh Marathon in Scotland. It was her birthday.

On June 1, 24-year-old Ellen Cassidy died during the Cork Marathon in Ireland.

On June 8, 31-year-old Carolina Lemes Oliveira died while running in the Junino Marathon in Brazil.

On June 10, 28-year-old Eliud Kipsang passed away in a hospital in Puyallup, Washington. A marathon runner and former University of Alabama track star, Kipsang had been running in a local race when he collapsed on June 6th. (This death wasn’t during a marathon, but Kipsang was that caliber of athlete. He held the NCAA Men’s record in the 1500-meter race.)

Another June 10 death was 20-year-old Joao Gabriel Hofstatter, who died running in the Brazil marathon.

The oldest marathoner was 36-year-old Cristina Santurino. She died running in the Alpine Zegama-Aizkorei marathon in Spain.

You may have seen that list of six deceased runners floating around social media this week after it went viral. We actually found a seventh runner who died on May 17th. A 31-year-old man went into cardiac arrest and died during the RBC Brooklyn Half Marathon.

We don’t know with certainty what caused seven elite runners to drop dead in a three-week span, but… we all know what this probably was, right?

You might think that deaths from cardiac arrest during marathons are a common thing. But they’re not. No one suddenly decides to put down the bag of chips, climb off the couch, and go sign up to run in the Brooklyn Half Marathon that same day. These people are elite athletes.

Even if you’re in good shape to start with, running experts say you need four to five months of intense training to get ready for one of these races. Deaths are actually exceedingly rare during long-distance races.

According to stats on PubMed, deaths from cardiac arrest during marathons only happen at a rate of 0.2 per 100,000 runners, per race.

The Los Angeles Marathon has about 25,000 runners participate in it every year. Statistically, there would only be about 1 death every 20 years in that race. In the more popular Boston Marathon, there are more than 32,000 runners every year. That means about 1 death every 15 years, assuming there’s not a Democrat in the White House.

Having seven marathon runners drop dead in a one-month span is unprecedented. Can anyone help solve this medical mystery? What could possibly be causing this?!

Of course, everyone knows what’s causing it, despite the best efforts of the medical and media establishments pointing to every possible culprit except for that one thing.

Back when the media and governments were trying to force everyone to take the COVID vaccines, they went to extraordinary lengths to lie about all the sudden deaths. Medical professionals were only too eager to posit wild theories about why so many young, healthy people in their 20s were dying from sudden heart attacks.

Some of the main culprits that they blamed for the rash of deaths were falling asleep with the television on, farting loudly, and a mysterious condition called “winter vagina.” I’ve always been curious to know whether this alleged heart attack-inducing “winter vagina” is a real condition, but I’m scared that my wife would find it in my Google search history.

At any rate, peak athletes never used to die with this sort of regularity before the rollout of the COVID mRNA shots. As Dr. Peter McCullough and others predicted, we now have millions of people walking around with undiagnosed heart problems. That’s the most likely source of all these unprecedented marathon deaths.
