$40 Billion Ukraine Aid Package to Line Nancy Pelosi’s Relatives’ Pockets

Both houses of Congress have now passed a jaw-dropping $40 billion aid package for Ukraine, which Joe Biden immediately signed. What’s the money for and where’s it really going? We’ll never know for sure, but one Republican congresswoman says she has a good idea. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) says the money is going to relatives of Members of Congress. It’s a money laundering scheme – for Congress! And no one can prove her wrong, because Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) made sure that there will be no oversight of where the funds will actually end up being distributed.

Forty billion dollars is a ton of cash. Maybe it doesn’t sound like much in the days of reckless trillion-dollar bills from Congress, but it is. To put that number into perspective, the United States’ entire foreign aid budget to 188 countries in 2021 was $38 billion. We’ve now sent $53 billion in aid to Ukraine just in the past few weeks, which is more than Russia’s annual military budget, and about two-thirds of the US State Department’s entire annual budget.

Where’s that cash going? Oh, too bad! You’re not allowed to know!

Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) temporarily blocked the bill last week. He was demanding an amendment to appoint an Inspector General to oversee the distribution of the funds in Ukraine. That was a bridge too far for Mitch McConnell and the other 88 Senators who voted for and passed the bill. Keeping track of where the money goes? Oversight? That’s crazy talk!

If it seems strange that Congress wouldn’t want to keep track of where they just sent $40 billion, Marjorie Taylor Greene can explain exactly why they did that. Greene says there’s no oversight of the cash because much of it is going to end up in the pockets of non-profits and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) that are run by “friends and families” of elected Representatives and Senators.

“It is basically like money laundering schemes… Our tax dollars are just like one big slush fund for criminal operations, and it needs to end,” says Greene.

Yeah. Basically.

How many elites have had relatives working in or around Ukraine in recent years? Let’s see, there’s Nancy Pelosi’s son, John Kerry’s son, George Soros’s son, one of Mitt Romney’s business partners and former aides, and oh, right, the entire Biden family. And those are just the ones that we know about. Ukraine’s a great place to run a non-profit or an NGO in recent years. US taxpayer money just falls off the table and into your pocket.

And of course, the crooks are sending all this cash to a corrupt foreign government (and themselves) at a time when America is suffering through some of the worst crises that any of us can remember in our lifetimes. You lost about one-fifth of your income over the past year to inflation – and it’s going to get much worse in the months to come.

American farmers can’t cover their operating costs right now. Diesel fuel, seeds and fertilizer have become too expensive.

Record amounts of fentanyl continues to pour across our southern border every day. There is supposedly enough of this toxic poison from China in the US right now to kill every American twice. 107,000 Americans died of drug ODs last year – far more than we lost in the entire Vietnam War. Record amounts of illegals are pouring across, too. A number matching the population of Anchorage, Alaska rushed in last month. And more are coming. Oh, and homelessness and human trafficking are at record high levels as well, as a direct consequence of our open border.

And right now, as you’re reading this, a mother is rushing her baby to the emergency room because she doesn’t have enough breastmilk supply and she can’t find formula anywhere in America – the breadbasket of the world. That baby is getting a needle stuck into it so that the hospital can feed it some nutrients intravenously, since hospitals can’t find formula anywhere either.

And yet Congress is acting as if it’s 1997 again and we can just keep sending gajillions of dollars to corrupt foreign governments. As if Ukraine is a problem that Americans want to solve. The irony is that the Ukraine situation is not getting solved by all this cash. It’s just make the relatives of politicians even richer.
